So I'm seeing a lot of people upset by the exclusiveness of the Lighthouse. I understand it's existence and even feel more of a pull towards the ToO because of it's existence. Problem is, I will likely never find a team good enough to go the distance (finding a decent team LFG has proven hard).
So I was thinking there should be an alternative way for players like me who focus on PoE. Why have an exclusive room for PvP players only?
Edit: To be clear, I'm suggesting a place equal to the Lighthouse geared towards PVE players. In general it is far easier for PVP players to play PoE and get the gear and much harder for PVE players to go to the trials and get that gear. It's not about the gear so much as it's about equality between PVE areas and PVP areas.
Edit: I understand the lore has nothing to do with PoE, which is why I'd be more than happy for a separate area. I don't care about getting to the Lighthouse more than having a social space for PoE elite.

5 RepliesSorry no scrubs allowed in the lighthouse.
-
No. There is no need. Get over it guys.
-
We already have a Lighthouse. It's called the Queen's Barrows. All the Lighthouse is is a glorified chest room.
-
12 RepliesAnd idiots with a gjallahorn can kill that shmuck , But it takes true skill to earn 9 wins against the games most hated and powerful weapons and teams
-
I'm a PvE player and a flawless ToO is by far the hardest thing in the game and deserves that reward. Any PvE way of getting there would cheapen it Yes I know not everyone has a solid team but now you have reason to go find one! Be social and use the community...
-
3 RepliesPoE already has a room that has a chest that pvp only players will never see...... don't see them bitching about it now do you???
-
1 ReplyNope, by PoE "elite" do you mean all those Ghorn max and Titan lvl34 only? At the moment I don't think PvE players need a special social place. To be honest with some practice everyone could get to the new pvp social area.
-
2 RepliesLighthouse is where Osiris stayed so that would be stupid to let POE players get there
-
1 ReplyIt's a PVP reward involving lore that makes sense for ToO, not PoE. Going there for beating Skolas doesn't make much sense.
-
No. People stay away from PvP because they suck. Have finished two cards flawlessly. It's requires teamwork more so than poe. Skolas doesn't camp bodies and make you strategize around him. Or make you 3v1 a team just to kill one and then revive and go 2v2 to come back and win when you were alone. Hunters go invisible or titans put up bubbles on mines and all is good. Neither of those things keep you safe in PvP. PvP is harder and deserves better loot . it always has been that's why everyone is so reluctant to stay away from PvP.

If a team flawlessly completes level 35 prison of elders, they deserve some awesome loot, more than a 9-0 Trials card, as it would require no one to die, whereas one person can carry a team through Trials.
-
2 Replies35 PoE Flawless should be no wipes/restarts of a round. W/ out dying might literally and truly be impossible.
-
7 RepliesAre there any weps from PoE that do elemental damage? Cause I think that's all people are really after.
-
5 RepliesHas anyone actually flawlessly done the PoE 35. I havent seen any posts about it. Who knows maybe there is something
-
Sucks to suck
-
Then there would be the "getting flawless on PoE is too hard. This is bullshit" No thanks. All the lighthouse whiners are enough as it is.
-
I say no, however if it is done flawless I think u should get granted access to a different cool area.
-
4 RepliesYou have the treasurer room for being good a poe
-
2 RepliesYou stated its easier for PvP players to beat PoE. And if your saying those who beat PoE are "elite" in PvE then basically everyone would be considered "elite" and the new space would be far less desired. Trials is the pvp end game and it's rewards should reflect such.
-
Everyone should just stfu, either you make it there or you don't.
-
Just make the Treasure Room cooler. There, problem solved, two cool loot collection areas.
-
Saw a comment saying the treasure is already like the light house free rewards for success. I agree but if some1 does it flawlessly then yea they deserve to get both rewards because that's a pretty bad ass achievement. Lol
-
Any flawless on raids trials PoE 32+ should have access
-
1 ReplyTake this topic down you fool, you have no idea what youre causing and how bad its going to get. You are just adding more fuel to a fire between PvE and PvP.
-
For all that voted "too easy", try without 3 gjallarhorns, try without any
-
2 RepliesI don't think the social hub should be given access to players who just beat PoE without dying. It's not that hard. I think if you have the flawless raider achievement you should be given access to a new social hub.
