1 ReplyI just used word of crota, light of the abyss, and gjallarhorn. Worked fine, my team didn't have to leave the front of the door.
-
Lol. What happened here?
-
Bump for the lulz

What you do is go behind the wall to the left. Good for ads control and he can't hit you. Or... Ghally spam and he dies quickly.
-
It isn't hard. You just need to get a strategy down. Stop blaming Bungie.
-
My brother and I 2 manned this. Don't see how you wouldn't be able to do it with 3... It's not that difficult at all.
-
No offence but I think funny when people complain about things being too difficult. It's nice to work for things once and awhile. Anyway as far as advice goes, I did this one with another titan and a guy who had a gjallarhorn. Titans just continuously chain domes and shot him with icebreaker, when shields went down the one guy with gjallarhorn unloaded. Stick in the front entrance, it's actually the safest spot and keep an eye out for the odd brave centurion that comes in

Have someone run Sunsinger and Invective and draw all of the adds towards him. The double solar damage and regening ammo means he can pretty much just kite them all while the other two guys hammer the boss. Have one of them run void damage, the other arc (we had a bladedancer and a Defender)

Edited by Caid Graelbor: 5/24/2015 1:19:22 AMI watched two 32's struggle bad with it: they did not kill the ads first. Team got split up really far just uncoordinated. I never understood the hate for people happy to pass level 32. Not everyone ascended their characters to lvl 34 the first day. Plenty of people just coming back to the game with lvl 28's.

8 RepliesEdited by Mark_Madton2: 5/24/2015 12:13:04 AMEveryone saying the boss is easy but to be honest hes not easy. This fight is tough as hell and i like a challenge but this is a bit to much. What bothers me is not the boss itself, he is rather simple, but the constant wave of Imperials. Splash damage everywhere. If this fight every gets a solar burn it would be downright impossible.
i defeated him twice, so dont bother with the git gud scrub rubbish
3 gallys. About 30 seconds
-
This guy is a joke. The entire 32 and 34 PoE is.
-
Just find a good spot with cover and tough it out. Try to get your team to have a good mix of elemental weapons so that you can take his shield down quick. The solution to your centurion problem is the solar shotgun.

2 RepliesEdited by Phantom: 5/24/2015 12:04:00 AMStep 1: Take down shield Step 2: shoot rocket If this is hard I'd love to see you bitch and moan about Urrox and Skolas

Stay together as a team, equip some good solar weapons, and use cover. Make sure to kill all adds and make sure you're ready to burn Valus Trau'ug before you start attacking him. Get as much damage on him as possible before his shields regenerate. Once shields regen, take cover and focus on the adds again. Rinse, repeat, profit.
-
I killed him as a level 30 with khostov. Git gud
-
Ur gonna love skolas

3 RepliesIf you can't kill this boring boss stop playing your scrub
-
1 ReplyIt's one of the easiest encounters. Just kill all of the ads and then take down the bosses shields while camping in the doorway.
-
5 RepliesLol if you think he is hard then good luck with lvl 34
-
1 ReplyJust keep moving. If you stay in one spot you will be overrun after downing his shields, you have to make sure everyone pounds him with tons of damage, and when his shields recharge You move and focus on the other enemies until their numbers thin enough to repeat the cycle.
-
Did it with 2 hunters, just kill the adds first every time they spawn, it isn't that hard
-
2 RepliesWe killed him in under 40 seconds. Three people firing 7 Gjallerhorns each. He didn't stand a chance
-
We two manned it after one of our fireteam got kicked due to connection on day 1
