Best story in a game?
We all know Destiny's story falls a little short. But what game has the by far best story line you've ever played?
Edit: i would personally say Pokemon. It was a true adventure

3 RepliesActually Destiny has a good "backstory." With Jaren Ward, The Last Word, Eris' Fireteam, The Collapse, and more. I'm not saying it's the best, I'm just saying it's not actually that bad.

Destiny has a fantastic story and rich lore. Just read some of the grimoire cards.

A [i]little[/i] short he says... Anyway. The .Hack IMOQ games or the .Hack//G.U. Trilogy have one of the most painfully touching stories I've ever had the honor of playing through.

WoW, tons of lore and backstory to the game. I don't play it anymore but I loved reading into the lore to that game.

Phantom Dust It's being remade for XBone. Please find it and buy it; you won't be disappointed. It's the most anime-esque game I've ever played when it comes to story. And the music was SO good at setting the tone!

Oblivion had a great main story and the story's of factions were also great

Bioshock 1 and Skyrim. I so wish Bethesda would do a remastered version for PS4.
