Gjallarhorn owners are afraid of a nerf

As a day one player with Gjallarhorn as their first exotic week 1, I can with great certainty tell you: There is nothing fear as it is a video game.

Are we? Really? I have one, and frankly though it looks gorgeous I don't know what all the fuss is about. I've hardly used it to be honest. And this thread wouldn't exist if you actually owned one yourself.

31 RepliesOr maybe instead of merging exotics they could start buffing the rest? Make all exotics OP, since you know YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE. Then make exotics weapons unable to be used in PVP. That would also help the state PVP in destiny, something that has a PvP player I would very much like to see.

It's highly doubtful that it will get nerfed, ever. It's not great in PvP and almost every single nerf so far was based on a weapon's performance in PvP. The Gjallarhorn is great for PvE, but its also situational, so it isn't the be all, end all weapon that dominates everything. I say this as someone who owns one and uses it about 50% of the time when playing PvE. As for PvP, there are many other heavy weapons that are much more effective than Gjallarhorn. Your assertion that it will be nerfed soon (or ever) is just baseless speculation.

It's literally the only time it gets equipped. I would, and do make it just fine with Hunger. I still don't have a Ghorn on my Xbox, and I don't even really care. It doesn't make any difference to how I play. Thunderlord is a better "all around" exotic. Mostly, my against all odds is what is equipped. [b]A Gjallerhorn Nerf never crosses my mind, and if it did, I would just shrug[/b] [b]It's very true what people are saying below. You guys have built this thing up in your head soooo much, that you think it is an easy button. If you ever get a drop or Xur does sell it, you're going to be disappointed as all -blam!-[/b]

You know they only "balance" weapons that are dominant in their respective class in pvp. Gjallarhorn isn't that special in pvp, so I doubt they'll bother.

Lol gally isn't as good as you all seem to think it is... I use bad juju over it any day. I hope xur sells it so you all never experience the feeling of getting the gally as a drop. And so all you will quit bitching about a stupid weapon
