NOTHING in the stream was paid dlc

Read what im actually getting across: those who paid for HoW are getting very little. The people who didnt pay are still getting like 80% of the content. The HoW dlc [b]is[/b] very cheap however- i thought the reef was going to be for people who paid.
Those who paid are getting so little content. If we got the reef exclusively it would be dope however the reskinned tower etc should be free then we should be getting at least another raid as we paid.

Did we really pay for 25 minutes of story mode, trials of iron banner, once a week horde and a strike we'll be sick of in a day.

This dlc should have been standard, HoW should have been 2 raids
Edit: you all seem content with a reskinned tower and material trades. Aswell as weapon upgrades. All of it... For a 1 horde mode. Itll get stale. Somebody bump this in the future to prove me right in... Say... july at the latest

5 RepliesI disagree, I have a different opinion on this since playing from the alpha. I feel that these changes reflect some of the wants of this community. I feel These changes stem more from player feedback then anything. It's also cool that this social space isn't locked out by a paywall. Yeah, if you didn't buy the DLC you won't be able to use the reef vendors, but bungie could have been really crappy about it and been like "no money? Get screwed." Also everyone is complaining of the cost. first of all compared to most DLC's cost it's not bad. Second, people need to understand that the DLC money is continuing to fund personnel to work on the DLC's. Artists, programmers, testers as much as they like to do it "for the love" they need a paycheck. Now for those that scream that IB was a huge test for reforging, well duh, and it was smart too. Bungie has maybe 200 testers? The player base is way bigger. More players test, less bugs. Better overall user experience. Now each of you have every right to agree or disagree. But some of these arguments that "it should have been in the launch!" Are a little far fetched. It's similar to saying that when the NFL started it should have been able to foresee how the game is currently played but implemented rules slowly to stretch content.

The social space is a hub to bigger things. Whilst the hub is free to all, HOW missions, bounties, Trials, Prison etc are all paid DLC. These will be unavailable to non-DLC owners.

Edited by Wraith: 4/23/2015 12:26:53 AMIt's true, you can sill get to maximum lvl of 34 and obtain new weapons including exotic gear without the DLC, there's really no point to the DLC ( btw exotic weapons exclusives can only be obtained by drops, not from Xur) so yeah your absolutely right my friend

This is their first time with this type of game chill dude, they are learning and bettering their game each month. If you don't like it stop playing and wait for destiny 2, it will be a better polished game.

I personally like this change, this shows that Bungie is indeed listening to player feedback, and that they are taking the extra steps to change things up. I think that this also gives people an idea of what is to come, i mean they are making new game modes instead just raids and strikes. I personally see a lot of potential and looking forward to what is to come for Destiny

I enjoy putting hours into this game almost on the daily. Sure there is bull shit everywhere but it's addicting and it took me away from battlefield 3 (( sweet Jesus )). I'll continue to do so on the regular until star wars battlefront. Then I'll be waiting for destiny 2

So sick of the "this is my opinion and it is absolute fact and if you don't agree you are an idiot" posts. Just plain opinion is rare on these forums. But I have to say, we? We'll? Speak for yourself. I for one still don't know what exactly I paid for with this DLC from the Twitch stream. Can't say if it's a waste of money yet until I play it myself and anyone who says they can in my opinion has no idea what they're talking about. $15 or $20 may not have the same value to everyone. But to me, if I can get even more than a few hours of entertainment out of that amount it's a huge win compared to most other forms of entertainment.
