Does Gjallarhorn or HoC do more damage to Crota?
Just wondering since it came up in one of my crota runs.

Gjallarhorn does theeeee most damage to Crota, scope in after you fire each, if you don't have both check YouTube. Wolfpack does a whole bother missiles worth of damage. The HOC only does a portion more than the initial impact

What a surprise! The exotic is better than the Legendary! It's like they designed the game that way! Gjallarhorn does like 2000 more damage per shot.

I don't have a Hunger of Crota so I can't compare, but I do know that if all the wolfpack rounds make contact, you can easily put Crota down with two rockets from Gjallarhorn.

Gally is the most superior... Hoc is a decent second due to the speed of Crota moving out of a dragons breath.

Gjallarhorn does... Ive used botg btw I received gally after I got hunger on my first run. The difference is the wolfpack rounds all hit crota whereas the cluster bombs spread out doing far less damage

2 RepliesGjally. Does more damage especially those wolf pack rounds. They can both drop him, you don't need gjally's but as long as it has tracking and you shoot at least two per a player it's fine

Gjallarhorn does more, but it shouldn't matter if everyone has their timing down. He's usually kneeling by the time the Wolfpack rounds hit him anyway

The difference is wolf pack rounds are guaranteed to cause follow up damage, cluster bombs are hit and miss

Gally doesn't its just gally Hoc should he's a hive major

Some people might say that the HoC does just as much damage as Gally with the exploding cartridges but it's not true. At best 2 or 3 will do 200. The average I've seen is roughly 120. Wolf pack does 200-250 each. So Always Gally.
