I think destiny is starting to die out
I've been a day one gamer and have played about 700hrs + on it, I love the game, it's my favorite game but lately until the DLC comes out, it's getting boring. Made me think like with today, xur selling the Suros, what happens when everyone gets what they want? All the exotic guns, and if u wanted all the gear to, I'm very close to that, once everyone gets what they want, then what is there to do? Yes the DLC will be coming out but once you get the raid gear and new exotics, then what? Not complaining or putting bungie down, I'll still play the game but, what's next? Starting to get boring, maybe they should get rid of xur? Or atleast change what he sells, I'm not sure yet, but what do you think?

1 ReplyStarting...? It's been dying since January. I would say it's pretty dead right now. No one on my list of destiny players still plays. For me personally it is dead. I have everything and 97% of it maxed. Just can bring myself to max mt last remaining couple of exotics.

3 RepliesQuit applying your game experience to "everyone". You might be close to getting all the gear that you want, but there are some that aren't even close to that. Everyone is going to have a different gaming experience. Some can play all the time, others are limited, some have played through every mission and game type, others have only played a small part of the game, some have been around since the beginning, others are only just starting.

1 ReplyI took a three week break to play some bloodborne. Loved it. Then the craving came back to play some destiny pvp. Last night I got my clan mates back together for 12 games of crucible and it was SOOO FUN. So my advice? Take a good long break. It'll bring back your desire to hop on destiny and when you come back it'll feel great

If HoW is like TDB, then the game will officially be dead.

1 ReplyWell done Sherlock. It's called a content gap and comes with all mmo's. The community will rejoin with house of wolves. Use the time to play bloodborne or spoil your significant other.

Sadly I agree. Destiny is losing players. I've noticed a major drop-off in players via my friends list this past week. People are moving onto other games. Once HOW comes out hopefully that will get everyone excited about Destiny again.

If you have played that much, then yes, I would expect it to be dying out for you. There is probably nothing left for you to do until the next DLC.

Yup same here. I was doing raids for the chance of getting Suros(seemed like I was the only one who hadn't had one drop yet). So now I have all the weapons I'd want. Started a new Hunter so I had something to play for, and now I only need gloves or a helmet and he's 32. Really hoping after HoW they make the old raids worthwhile in some way. Whether it be allowing you to upgrade new gear to the new light level, or weapons to the new attack level. A new raid, missions, and strikes will be great but how long did it take for you to get to 32 from Crota gear? Wasn't very long for me. So if the same thing happens with HoW people will have to wait until Comet for new stuff to do. I hope they have plans for the summer to keep people hooked.

Xur is one of the least repetitive in game so can never be the reason Destiny is getting boring. The same strikes, raids, bounties etc for months and months without a proper reward systen (taking into account what you already have anyone?) is!

Im at this point... I own every exotic gun and all exotic gear for each character really the only thing I have left to do is upgrade the remaining exotics that need to be upgraded or help others when they call on which ain't happening to much anymore, time to just sit back and wait for the next dlc or continue to do the same bounties and strikes over and over...

It's pretty boring. I've had every exotic and armor for quite a while and there isn't nothing to do now.
