Yup all very true. I feel good though. I resisted using my thorn. But was tempted when the other team is using all thorns.

Grinded hours and hours rank 5 got two scout rifles two ships 1 legendary special engram shit ton of useless shit but no shotgun. My buddy second game of iron banner gets the shotgun. Ended up with three of them. Bungie get your nuts out of activisions glass jar and give us shit for our effort and not luck for nothing

Then what do you expect us to use in IB? Khostov? Necrochasm? just stfu

I enjoyed - finally figured out Suros - got some kills - got to level 5 on 2 characters! Can't wait for next one!

Besides the fireteams and score thing, that's the crucible in general

Played a couple hours a night for the whole week. Hit Rank 5 last night and got just a Gheleon's Demise as a reward, then bought the Hammer and Wrath, almost maxed the chest as well. Enjoyed it as I had a team mate for most the games. Whether I'm a better player as a result, not certain.... I did get a few decent streaks and popped the streak bounty every day :)

The most part I actually enjoyed this IB. I had more close games then I expected but still had a lot of complete blow outs. My first 3 matches were all join in progress but that really stopped by day 2. Map selection was far more balanced than the last IB. Which was great! Still no new maps though. I was under the assumption we would see DB maps introduced. Thorn,TLW and Red Death were the most popular primaries. Blink shotgun hero's still annoyed me but in larger maps they had lass impact. Felwinters Lie is still ridiculous in range. It seemed to replace Suros as the crutch of the month. Fusion rifles have gone bye bye. To bad I liked using them. Still some need to feel a lvl difference. Nothing felt different from regular crucible. I still could get 2 shotted by a 30 with TLW. Or our punched by a 28. Gear really didn't seem to make a difference. I wish we had more maps for people like me who love sniper duels. Win or lose I love to pop heads!

U had no where near the experience I had I didn't use a single weapon on there and did great bad juju MIDA longbow hide and seek and a 300 zombie that was line up and I enjoyed every bit of it

I have a solid clip of me shooting a lvl 32 4 times at point blank range with a maxed 331 felwinters lie and he turns to casually kill me. I was a lvl 32 too.... [spoiler]lag I guess? Lol[/spoiler]

I'm not a PVP'er .. my stat's clearly speak to this truth. This was my first ever IB and here are my views: - In total it took me a day and a half to go from rank 0-5 on a Sunday/Monday combo so the boon helped. I also did this completely solo. I didn't find this all that bad as I started to enjoy myself once I learned the basics. - Majority of my death's were due to Shotguns > Red Death > Supers. Never ran into the elusive Blink Shotgunners or final round snipers. - I spent the entire event securing "B" I never once attempted for A/C and I would have to say my team won byfar the majority of our matches. I would stress when I would see my team attempting an A/C combo take down. - I was sniped maybe 10 times across 50+ games and I was killed by fusion rifles about the same amount (not very often) - Learned: Waiting for your team at the heavy drop can swing a decisive victory. - Ran into maybe 3 full teams of people. Only 1 of those teams were good at winning vs us randoms thrown together. Someone on here mentioned that being in a fireteam isn't necessary and they were right. - Lag was an issue but I never ran into what I would deem as intentional lag switching. A couple times I would die after the fact and noticed my team would be all at crappy connections. - Found out you auto win the match when the entire team drops out on the other side. - Drop rates were interesting. I received about 7 ships. 2 Demise Scouts and 1 Feltwinter. Bought Boots/Chest and 2 Hammers - This forum was very helpful in building my guns to be PVP monsters with my rerolls as this process was new to me and I as I said I'm brand new to PVP so the help was awesome and now I am building a beast arsenal for PVP. - Last but not least. I went back into PVE to run some bounties and noticed I am far more aggressive and attack with a 3D perspective. I feel that PVP has made me an all around better player. So glad I jumped into the Banner to learn the hard way.

The one legendary engram that I got at rank 3. It was great turned into a hunter chest plate. I am a warlock. Two iron banners not one weapon drop. Beginning to think I have done something to piss bungie / rngesus off. Ohh and red death and thorn and does anyone remember suros? Nothing like being sniped by a hand cannon from half way across the map. Thought these were nerfed?

I posted this yesterday but I think it got lost in the forum trenches..... here is a cut and paste I recorded all my wins and losses in this last IB along with certain drops that either myself or my teammates received through out. This was my second Rank 5 IB. I did 5.0 for the weapons. This time, my goal was Rank 4 for the Chest piece (the key to unlock 32 for me) Note: every match was done by the randomizer, I was never in a premade or a strike group. Titan Defender lvl 31/32 Loadout: Hawkmoon, Fel Lie, Against All Odds I collected 4 coins only once, I collected 5 coins twice and the second one were my final games to hit Rank 5. Not bad for a very medicore player. I already had all the IB faction items so I was able to start with the Shader, Banner and Titan Bar Towell Weapons that I noted were taking my head off the most not in any particular order ~ MIDA ~ Vanquisher VIII ~ Thorn ~ Against all Odds ~ Vision of Confluence ~ a plethora of shotty’s (Swordbreaker, Fel Lie and the one from Crota) After all the whining and bitching on the forums (which I love to read) Red Death was not really a factor for me, saw it a couple times but that was about it. I actually really loved it and wish it was around more, people will always complain about something. There are pros and cons to everything in life. IB has really gotten me into PvP so I'm happy.
