How many games did it take you to get the 500 points for the thorn bounty?
I assume not many people keep track of this stat but I figure if you averaged 10 void kills a game with no deaths it would take 10 games. I estimate the average player to have a k/d around 1:1 and that puts you in the 17 game range. Where do you stand?
Edit: I'm referring to the crucible portion. 1 kill = 5 points and 1 death = -2 points.
If you claim to have done this in 3 games then you must have gone 33 and 0 three times in a row. If you are that good we should all be able to see it in your stats.
Edit: It sounds like assists count for some people and they don't for others. If you comment a number of games it would be helpful if you comment whether assists counted or not.

2 RepliesIt took me six hours the first time so roughly ~40 games. The second time it took me 5 games. It just depends on whether or not you have good void weapons

I think I was able to do it in about 12 my second go around. Playing rumble with Atheons epilogue corrective measure and a good void fusion rifle on my hunter. Was getting between about 12-18 kills a game or so. At any rate, pick your weapons and pick your gametype, these tend to make a big difference in your success with it, personally I went with a free for all over a team game the second go around since it let me not have to worry about getting double teamed as much.

I felt terrible using a fusion rifle but it got the job done

I don't remember. Couldn't have been that many as I did it in an afternoon. The harder part imo was the epic level strike after it.

6-7 because I hate myself and tried to do it solely using my sniper, but then ended switching to a void copperhead.

Combined arms playlist with preadyths. Even for someone as average as me it was easy with that combo.

Everyone saying under 6 matches is a -blam!-ing liar...that's all you need to know about this topic. Even under 10 is nearly impossible for 99% of all the crucible players out there.

Ran Atheon's Epilogue, Praedyth's Revenge, and Corrective Measure on my Voidwalker Warlock. Didn't take long at all because practically every kill counted.

It was 7 or 8 games for me. I ran with a blue fusion and swarm. Did it real early in the game, the hardest thing for me was the mission for xyor.

It was my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and maybe 8th crucible matches. I think 7, maybe 6. Having a voidwalker is a big help.
