Why don't people raid?
If you're not raiding, explain why not and what are you doing in Destiny. There's not much to do in the game including raids as it is. I'm just curious.
Edit: Seems most don't have a group or found people patient enough to help them through the raids. It's good to see people lending a hand. I just took someone new from this thread through crota last night. He got some good drops and is looking forward to raid some more of. We are gonna do vog as well. I struggle to find a good raid team that communicate, have a laugh and get the job done, I've beaten both raids on hard and prefer the vog raid. I'm on ps4 and end up playing strikes, bounties and occasionally pvp, deffo more of a pve type player

2 Replies[b]MY full opinion about raiding: Vault of glass, my favorite raid so far. very fun and i love the armor and weapons. havent gotten the mythoclast or any hard mode things because i never tried hard mode. i still have found verdict, atheons epilogue and hezen vengeance right now. Played this every week. Crota's End: Dont like it at all. i dont like the armor and i dont like the weapons except for abyss defiant and black hammer. Tried twice and never tried to complete. H.O.W. Raid: I dont care if i like it or not. i will play that raid. my #1 desire from that raid is the titan armor. SO -blam!-ING SEXY. i also want the auto rifle, sniper rifle, shot gun and machine gun. mainly the auto rifle and machine gun. i just prefer machine guns over rocket launchers and my favorite type of auto rifle is the slow shooting high impact type. and the past two raid auto rifles have not been that, so this one probably is. H.O.W. Raid is going to most likely be the most played raid i will have. Will most likely complete a lot.[/b]

4 RepliesFinding a group that is willing to take a virgin through their first raid is kinda hard. I've completed 5 raids now and I'm still nervous each time I join a new raid team.

I'm patient enough but several runs of the same checkpoint that use the same Ill fated strat sorta makes me leave, keep in mind I tell the team the strat is ill fated but they don't listen

I dont find raids enjoyable, I prefer crucible and iron banner type stuff. Raids get irritating....

If anyone needs help with vault or Crota normal just hit me up, Xbox one, GT is as above, happy to take people through it, you don't have to be worried it's just another part of the game to learn and I think you'll learn quickly that vault can be hella fun with the right team

Because I can't find a group (: And yes, I've tried on lfg blablabla. On ps3 I did raid every day but moved to Xbox and now I barely raid. I know what to do and die rarely. But since I have no Mic I just get booted every.fricking.time :) So, solo crota it is for me(:

For any of you guys that need help, you can't let me know anytime. I can solo the first part of Crota for any of you guys that need help, and o do not mind. You guys posting in the forums are right. It's hard being a newbie to raids, and finding a team that will help you. You guys that are new or just need a team mate let me know. I'll be more than happy to contribute.

Finding a consistent group that shows up when they are supposed too, as well as one that I feel comfortable with.

I'm with the people that don't have a group and don't enjoy pugs. As for not much else to do, that alienates quite a large portion of the community. PVP is the only constant thing, in games like this, that will always evolve or be exciting as each match had the potential to be something totally different.

I don't raid because its hard to get a consistent group together to go through it. I did it the other week and it was fun, and I want to do it again...but its just trying to find a consistent group. Then you hear all the stories of people being booted for being a 31 and not having Gjally, and shit like that. The other problem is I'm not a social person, it takes ages for me to get comfortable around people enough to talk...and even then I'm mostly quiet. I prefer just to tool around the planets and Rep Up Dead Orbit to get all the gear and weapons on my characters....Strikes are fun too, but yeah...Raiding is just out of reach at the moment.

You underestimate things like stupid people playing this game as well as people with awful social skills. Those two alone could push out half the playerbase from ever raiding
