If you're not raiding, explain why not and what are you doing in Destiny. There's not much to do in the game including raids as it is. I'm just curious.
Edit: Seems most don't have a group or found people patient enough to help them through the raids. It's good to see people lending a hand. I just took someone new from this thread through crota last night. He got some good drops and is looking forward to raid some more of. We are gonna do vog as well. If you would like to join add me on Ps4 PHRESH_PHIL

Despite the community coming up with tons of great ideas to fix the issues with match making, there is still no match making. I can get 3-4 people easy, and sometimes 5. I'm always missing at least 1 person. Always. It became such an un-fun and time consuming burden to fill slots that I realized I was spending more of my free time trying to start a raid than I was actually raiding. So I quit.

All glitches and all gear is all pointless now. I have all the weapons and I just do it to help plp.
-
Raid so god damn buggy! I've got 3 32's all the possible loot so with all the glitches there is literally no point.

4 Repliesfor me i added about 40+ people to my friends list for raiding. now im lucky to see 8 people playing destiny, normally only on a Tuesday evening. and the two or three of those running crota raid are doing so with long established friends or groups. i don't want to have to add another 40 friends to my list just to be able to raid. and to go via third party searches and to really try to form a raid just takes so much effort. not to mention having not done the raid since before christmas (because ive been away with work) means its not like i can form a group and lead them because i have no clue on the best stratergies.

Well here is my story... Did VoG, since its inception. Obtain all the known goodies (there are some myths going around of some more goodies to be found). It took a while but I got there. TDB landed and the grind begun, after 6 weeks, had completed a fair share of CE raids and obtained, 3 set for each class (stats included) of raid armor. I've also obtained all the possible weapons the were being provided. HM was then release and another grind started, and here we come to today. All weapons in VoG and CE are in my possession (including the necro). All the armor are in my possession. What is left is that pesky little sparrow, but then some major things happened. GW2 expansion announced, Dragon Ball Xenoverse released, and most recently, my most awaited game for Q1 just got released. Yes you guessed it. Final Fantasy Type-0 which I was waiting for since the Japan only release on PSP, now on PS4 and HD remastered. Picking up my copy in 10 hours, since Australia is a bit pesky with release times. Bu back on topic, if I so wanted to, I would be able to get all the trophies, but I'm just too lazy to get my self to hunt dead ghosts and to be bothered to complete a flawless raid (which is currently easy to accomplish with crota's end even post patch). So there you have it, thats my story why I don't Raid and havent logged on to destiny for about 2 weeks. However should something interesting happen I will be back. Until then awaiting patiently for HoW.

Ok for those of u who have never done the raid go to destinylfg.com list your guardian as inexperienced and try to find some people that will help you

I found raiding in WoW more....forgiving then Destiny raiding. If Destiny had a healer class or subclass then I would definitely give raiding a try.

3 RepliesI blew a raid because I didn't know wtf I was doing. My friends list has 3 players on it and I haven't ventured to try again. I sure would like some raid gear. Would like to see lvl 31 go bye bye. Been playing some Iron Banner to try and get some gear there. Grind..grind ..grind.......bunk.

3 Repliesraiding can be stressful, overwhelming, and very chaotic. you have to trust your mates, and some players start screaming and overreacting over deaths and tpk's. not to mention it can be difficult to find a group willing to take the time to explain things and get a system going. i dont mind helping new raiders, theyre usually very nervous but tend to be very cooperative

After I complete it for the reset it's no point of doing it until the next reset
-
Day one player here and never did a complete raid. Mostly bcos I was in the last semester of university and was very hard to find time for it. When I had the time, my group did not. But it's ok, just finished my graduation project...

1 ReplyI would like to raid, but seeing as most of my friends I used to raid with have stopped playing I need to do the abyss and bridge solo. So I don't do it anymore. It sucks! And time plays a huge factor these days....
-
7 RepliesIf you're serious about helping a raid newbie, I'd appreciate the help. Haven't had much luck looking for help previously.

I got way too high the first time I raided and I was the only first timer and it was one of the worst things I've ever done high because of all the stress that was put on me to do it right. But I did feel like I was really in the vault for a good 10 minutes.

3 RepliesSome people are scared to jump in these days because of the elitist scum that are at the head of our raiding community.

Have everything gets kinda old
-
No point in doing raids anymore Have all exotics - have all crota weapons x loads It's entertainment, playing of course. But even that gets repetitive Same as the rest of the game, it's become stale and boring
-
2 RepliesI can't commit time to them as I have a baby in the house, and when I do go online, my friends are usually finishing thier daily session. And I'm reluctant to use LFG - I'm too shy.
-
Don't like playing with random people. Tried it once, annoyed the heck out of me.
-
No time
-
I have everything except the lame time breaker reskin sparrow
-
All my buddies have great weapons because I was patient. now we walk through the raids and have a great time
-
Got bored of em. I already pretty much have everything i need from em lol

49 Vog completions and 30 something crota. Pretty over it at the moment. Crota is terrible. I would do Vog every week and usually do it on one character on Friday. I just don't need gear or anything. I have enough shards and energy. Yeah I could get more and stack like 300 of each mat but for what? I really just play crucible now trying to work on repairing my kd from beginning when I was terrible and would drink / go ultra negative for like 10 straight games. I'm still bad but nowhere near as bad as when I started.
-
1 ReplyI have only done patrols and some of the story, no real life friends play video games and. I'm wary of online due to inexperience so I play alone.

I ran VoG multiple times every week before The Dark Below came out because I had a group of friends to run it with. Once the expansion made all our time in the VoG become worthless every single one of those friends stopped playing. Nobody wanted to grind the same few strikes to gear up for the new raid since we had already done those strikes countless times to gear up for the VoG. Since I'm the only one still playing, I have to go on these forums or a site like DestinyLFG to find a group. More often than not, I waste hours trying to find a group or hoping that the group I've found can get it right on the next attempt. It's just not worth the trouble.
