Nothing.

It's worth finding the ghosts not released to the public yet (aka "glitching"/finding broken areas into the dlc) as sometimes they still give you grimoire points
-
You watch youtube

It's a sign of power. I'll respect a 31 with 2300 grimoire more than a 32 with 1900 grimoire.

Diddly squat

Absolutely nothing. It's basically like Xbox Achievements. Someone with more Achievements score in Halo isn't necessarily better just because they've gotten 20 splatters on a Ghost.
-
It's just a number. I'm not going to look up a video for finding every Ghost in the game, just to get that number up.
-
Nothing more than time put into the game and the variety of activities the player has done. Mine has been going up recently just because I'm spending more time in the Crucible. Put more into it than that at your own risk.

I work full time I have a high score and a life by no means do I think I have more skill than anyone else I don't think about it I go for grimoire for the challenge
-
Nothing

Higher Grimoire means more time played which usually means more experience. It has no relation to skill, after all anybody could go find all the dead ghosts pretty easily and kill certain types of enemies.
-
if its over 2k basically nothing
-
Time played in all parts of the game.

Edited by Cathulu the gr8: 3/2/2015 3:57:06 PMThe same thing that Xbox's Gamer score is: An indication that if they have less than you, they suck, and if they have more, they're no lives.
-
It means nothing. Since I can't see any of it in game. They need to have ones you've unlocked readable during loading screens

1 ReplyEdited by DeathBringerZen: 3/2/2015 3:44:24 PMAbsolutely nothing. I don't really bother collecting pointless dead ghosts or using all the various weapon types, but despite my score (not sure if it's considered good or not) I know I am good. I can do literally any task offered, whether it is running relics, swords etc. It's really just another statistic attached to the game as far as I am concerned and it does not bother me how high or low someones score is, I will still play with them.

A number of trophy score over killing things multiple times

Skill and Experience

3 RepliesSkill indication.

Hah... some guy on the forum was saying something about starting a clan for 2500 only Grimoire, so to prove how bogus that was I decided to go collect ghosts... I started at 2400 Grimoire, then about an hour later I had 2715...

Usually the better players have a respectable Grimore score (above 2300)

1 ReplyMeans exactly zero to me... I know there's things I could easily do to bump it up, but they're not things I want to do so I'm not gonna. I do like to read the cards though from time to time
