The higher the score, the more time spent playing Destiny, the more loot you have .

Nothing

It means who went ghost hunting or not.
-
It means play time more than anything. That being said I have seen lvl 32's with 1900 that ran VOG or CE about as good as I did. In terms of skill it does not mean anything.
-
It's means Jack sh!t
-
God no! Don't trust someone because of a high grimoire. To me it means nothing more than something to do
-
Achievement hunters
-
It shows that you may know what you're talking about. Someone with a low score hasn't played long and has less experience than a higher score player.
-
It's just a number to be honest. (I have that kind of grimoire score because I was trying to get the achievment "ghost hunter")
-
Time played.
-
I was better then 2500 or above with 2265. Grimore don't matter. Who cares about grimoire are tryhards.

Ziltch

Mostly it just makes me think of theTV sho Grimm. Otherwise I have no idea what it is for and ignore it.

Edited by th0rg0d: 3/2/2015 4:28:28 PMUnfortunately it means very little. I know Bungie meant it to indicate how well versed a player is in Destiny, but it falls short of that. Because if the way it's increased, it has no bearing on skill, no bearing on time played, nor how well you are acquainted with the game. If it's low, it just means that person hasn't focused on increasing it. If it's high, it means that person has likely gone out of their way to increase it. If it's really low, it means that person is new to the game(or a new acct).
-
It's a decent indicator of experience since finding ghosts is only worth <400 grimoire score. I'll take a 25 with a 2300+ score on my VoG team because it usually means they're just on an alt and it's not their first raid. Whether that experience actually translates into skill is a different matter, but in my experience those with 2750+ grimoire have been some of the most skilled players I've met.

1 ReplyA reminder of the story telling destiny doesn't have.
-
Ive played since day 1, my score is only 2050. I play on it every night, it means nothing to me
