OMG on Crota Normal, don't say "lets do center strat"
Seriously I ran some newish guys thru Crota normal last night, since I decided to get my 30 hunter geared up with raid stuff for the heck of it. Anyways most of these guys CLaimed they have done it multiple times. Went smoothly until 2 idjits are refusing to do crota on ANYTHING OTHER THAN center strat.
Oh my gawd guys that is for hard mode, if you're that lame that you can't handle the normal crota battle without standing on center ledge....don't even play the raids any more. Seriously the next person I run normal mode with that suggests "Hey lets do center ledge strat on Crota" I'm going to flip out. That is so pathetic.

3 RepliesI ran 4 newbs thru it last night. I had the 4 new guys all on boomer duty I dropped crota by myself and my buddy that joined to help me ran sword. Beat him in two swords. I walked them through a clean and informative instructions prior to activating crystal.

The only thing that left has over centre strategy, is the ease of finding the sword bearer if he wanders away from the centre. Everything else is better with the centre strategy.

Do you know the difference between can't do it and don't want to do it. Why make it longer and more annoying because of what you think the way it should be done. You are just wasting time on a personal ideal.

Center strat! Now!

We do normal using center platform strat so we can train new swordbearers to run hard. Also, any one that messes up doing normal can be "fixed" on the spot, before we do hard.

Centre strategy is so easy and links well with hard mode.

Sounds like someones not a good enough sword carrier to kill crota without taking out the boomers... Makes sense to do center strat, think of it as training for hard. Not like normal actually matters anyway

Explain to me what is so wrong with a group wanting to get familiar with center strategy on normal so they aren't holding back people they end up playing with on hard mode? The more people know it, the better off everyone will be and the smoother it will go. I fail to see any issue with learning the main strategy on a forgiving mode when hard mode needs to be practically error free.

Let me ask yout a question. Do you have something to prove? Center strategy is more efficient. The only reason to go left side is to prove that you can kill boomers. There is no need to kill boomers. Stop trying to be tough on the left side.

It doesn't bother me either way, I'm up for any strategies (helps change it up so it's not the same ol same ol) but a lot of people do center strategy on normal to practice for hard mode. You gotta remember man not everyone is a professional raider, practice makes perfect

Same thing with people wanting 32's for Atheon hard, I beat it several times as a 29. I even played vog normal and they want to wait to back into the hall to kill the first gate keeper waste of time and not necessary
