OMG on Crota Normal, don't say "lets do center strat"
Seriously I ran some newish guys thru Crota normal last night, since I decided to get my 30 hunter geared up with raid stuff for the heck of it. Anyways most of these guys CLaimed they have done it multiple times. Went smoothly until 2 idjits are refusing to do crota on ANYTHING OTHER THAN center strat.
Oh my gawd guys that is for hard mode, if you're that lame that you can't handle the normal crota battle without standing on center ledge....don't even play the raids any more. Seriously the next person I run normal mode with that suggests "Hey lets do center ledge strat on Crota" I'm going to flip out. That is so pathetic.

We had 2 32 locks and me as 32 hunter. Got to deathsinger and thought let's do it. Cake walk. Then crota and the locks did center strategy and I got sword duty. Crota dies easy none the less. My brother didn't get any gear and only got the swordbreaker shotgun. Sucks but rng is a biatch sometimes. [b]Just do center strategy so you don't have to show someone 2 different ways. You don't even need the chalice on normal anyway. We leave it. [/b]

My VERY Experienced raid team did center strat on Normal last night to help one of our guys train to be sword bearer on hard. We didn't even grab the chalice.

lol normal Crota I clear my side go out there kill sword bearer(someone else can grab chalice if they want it) and my other friend takes him down the other 4 are just there

I have not completed that many hard raids, but I feel that if I am to learn any strategy, it might as well be the strategy for hard mode. There is no point learning one, then another, when one strategy will work for both.

i do middle strat on normal cause i 2 man it with my friend since its so easy, i dont bother looking for others when running normal

2 RepliesYeh why the hell would you want to do it the way that kills the swordbearer the quickest, gives the best survival for lower level players as no way they can be taken out by boomers and closest for dropping to centre for ogres. The thing is whats wrong with running centre on both lol. Yeh its easy to do from left but if you have a team of peanuts that stuff around with killing the sword bearer for any reason then you have more chance of some numb nuts dieing.

Bigger picture is you can watch sword holder back, boomers can't hit you, easier to shoot over soul, but most importantly no one gets in each other's rocket unless they just suck. Also keeps fresh for hard raid.
