No, it's inherently implied. See, what you think is sexism is actually just a form of beneficial exclusivity. My clan is actually sexist because we never once thought to invite any girls. The idea never crossed our minds, it is inherently sexist because we wouldn't accept a female for any discernible reason beyond it's just a group of dudes having fun without a mission statement. A group of lads being lads. Being lads to avoid women who will make ridiculous comments and water down our gaming experience.

Discrimination isn't sexism but sexism is discrimination. Is it sexist to not want to be sexualized and objectified in a relaxed gaming environment? Is it sexist to not want to talk to women because they just don't get it in a relaxed gaming environment?

You are over analyzing... they won't let men join no matter their attitude or preferences while you aren't allowing them for the plan reason of being more relaxed in general... theirs is sexist yours isn't while it can be deamed as discriminating

I think you really don't fully understand the topic at hand. Because you flip flopped exactly what I said and used that as your new point. What they are doing is discrimination based on extremely negative previous interactions with the opposite gender in order to have a safer and more relaxed gaming environment. The statistics are on their side for this sort of discrimination, as it is not sexism, seeing as females are significantly more likely to get harassed for their gender then any male. Gaming is male dominated. However mine is actually sexism, albeit discrete, and is what we call the patriarchy. The subtle reinforcements of gender stereotypes.

Again you over analyze yours while not analyzing the other. It is a requirement for dames to be female, this is a fact. The stereotyping of the other gender to try and reinforce a gaming atmosphere that caters to their gender is sexist if not bordering it closely You promote a more agresive style of play, it is also a fact that majority of the aggressive players are indeed male. You are not stereotyping a gender for it you are catering a play style that is male dominated and are thus a male dominant clan. Discrimitory yes but not sexist
