It seems like a good idea, and it if helps them to feel safe and enjoy the game more, then I say why not? People (I.E. the angry dudes on here) need to chillax and understand that not everything is a gender issue aimed at insulting you personally. The phrase "providing a safe place for girls" (which is said a lot in the article above) is bringing attention to the fact that sometimes (some) guys (Edit: and some girls) can be disrespectful towards girl gamers. That they don't treat women with the respect that they deserve . They (the Dames) are not insinuating that all guys do this, but that unfortunately some do and some can be real creeps. Therefore, if your a guy who treats girls with respect, that statement is not saying that you personally make women feel unsafe. It's not that hard to understand.

Guys get man caves. The -blam!-s the difference. Most of the male gaming populace are idiots and jerkbags, Like that Hammerlock dude. Full support from Sanctifictur Custodes, Dames. Hope to run into you on the frontier, however unlikely. Its Hard to find decent people in game for some reason.

Considering no other clan has had this kind of media coverage, wether it be male or female. Keep the recruitment in the recruitment section.

1 ReplySeen quite many female only clans/guilds in number of games over the years and had no feelings what so ever towards them. One my ex did play CS and WoW in female only groups and I saw it totally normal, girls have their things. I have seen small "harrasment" toward female players, but never anything serious, thank god. Had female players in my clans/guilds/groups and yes, most of the boys/men do behave better than there is no female in. These are just my experience from subject, but i can imagine that this kind of clan can give less pressure over female player. keep it going!

Whenever a girl join our fire teams or chats or however it is we find one in-game we always put her out to be the top player in the squad jus cuz she's a girl. I have never been in a lobby where anyone ever disses a girl and people always play a lot more politely and appropriately when around one. If I ever find anyone dissing a girl in a lobby I will get her praised and I will get over 50 people to report whoever that person is! In my opinion girl gamers got it easier, whenever they join a lobby they won't have to show they're good or anything. Just by being a girl we will all help her get better and cheer her on.

We are looking for members to fill our roster we will have a website up and running by the end of March. Our primary groups are PST and EST we raid weekly anywhere from 3-12 times an same with nightfalls and heroics. We PvP weekly as well currently we are getting everyone ready for HoW and the Comet DLCs.

I think the whole argument over female gamers is flawed. How i see it from personal experience is more like hardcore gamers have a 50/50 split between men and women, however i do encounter more casual male gamers than female probably 65/35 split. Dont shoot the messenger, this is just from what ive seen in my vast amounts of hours playing games, also this "survey" is only off of xbox gameplay, im an american sorry sony.
