Titans are hands down the worst and most underpowered class in Destiny
Worst Melee, our armor almost makes no difference, no agility, low recovery.
We are basically only good for raids and strikes using defenders and once in a blue moon taking out a team capping a point with FOH
I don't know what Bungie where thinking making us man, I try to understand it but just can't. Scorch is what Force Barrier should be but we can't even have THAT.

I remember reading somewhere Titans are like 20-25 percent of the player base, don't quote me on that tho

Funny! Used a titan since day 1. Just made a warlock and hunter and I'm wondering why anyone would use either one. There jumps are horrible, and well there supers "ain't nothing super about it". Nova bomb is ok but those hunter supers are horrible. Only thing i do like on those 2 classes are there melees. Keep trying to use a throwing knife on my titan. Lol love that thing.

My main is a warlock, but I've come to realize that my Titan slays in both pvp and pve.

I hope you are kidding... I tried out the titan for Iron banner and I was averaging 35 kills a game.... you are doing something wrong

Actually, titans have the hardest hitting melee. Hunters have quickest, locks have range. Also shoulder charge. Flashbang grenade shuts down enemies, including ogres, sword bearers, and even gatekeepers. Suppressor grenade shuts down wizard bombardment and captain teleporting. Fist of havoc, what I've seen, can wipe up majors where it takes golden gun 3 shots and barely kills with nova bomb. Shock wave devastates. The armor actually makes some difference to me. Playing my warlock I'm always in cover. Playing my titan I'm aggressive and always with a shield down, which I later can get back with health regen from my melee. Lightning grenade + armamentarium = single handily preventing a cap on a zone. You can be superman (death from above) Weapons of light was a MUST for hard Atheon. Why are they least represented? I don't really know. All I know is: the few, the proud, the titans.

Get a new main or learn to play titan, I love my titan I feel op as hell making kids rage quit.

I love the titan. I never once thought it was underpowered. Has the best grenades and the bubble is one of my favorite supers in the game because of its usefulness and adaptability. Recently took the #1 spot for me. Hunter was my main class since the alpha.

I think if bungie released class numers again, sonce last time was months ago, there would be way more titans. It took VoG for people to realize how useful they are, but by then no one was starting over because they were still on their 1st characters. Clearly you still dont knlw how awsome they are...

You are probably right about it being the least played - I know I spend way more time on my hunter and warlock because honestly, I find them more fun. Titans are just kind of sluggish and their abilities aren't as fun personally. Still, titans play a vital part in PvE & PvP and personally I think they are the strongest class for PvP.

"They are balanced and underused". Your words are your answer.... read it again and again. Players are not necessarily looking for a balanced character.....they want something else....I have all 3 characters but have been using Titan for iron banner.

1 ReplyI definitely agree with the part about what each class should excel at in Crucible. Warlocks recovery is there, hunters agility is there, but the Titans supposed armor? Nope! Same as Hunter and Warlock basically, which in my opinion, is a Damn shame...
