Watch the video. Kid let someone online share play on his account to level up faster. Kid was naive. But this Troll proceeded to delete this kids highest Characters and then some of his exotics. This was a grown adult doing this to this kid.
I think this was incredibly crappy. Along the same lines a swatting someone. Lets spread the word so hopefully Bungie can help. And we find who this troll was and give them some Karma
Thanks guys

Good god why do you all care?
-
Not account, just characters

Everyone e making this guy look like he committed a crime it a game I don't give a -blam!- one less kid now sweet
-
The kids intention is to glitch the game. He wants to do said "glitch" so badly that he will trust a COMPLETE stranger on the Internet. Why would he think this would go well?! This has taught a valuable lesson in life to not trust people who you do not not know. Simple. No characters should be reinstated, he should dwell in his mistake for how ever long he wants to.
-
5 RepliesYour right this guy didn't do him a favor. Kid should have learned by jumping into a van by a guy promising candy(no I don't wish that on the kid, so don't get your panties in a bunch). Kid learned a lesson. Simple as that.

3 RepliesThis Kermit guy is a sorry piece of trash filth. And I'd love to get my hands on this guy. Probably a no life neck beard that never leaves his parents basement.

Such a sick f*ck

Who cares? That happened to me in an online game when I was younger. The guy hacked to get a dev badge or something, and tricked me. I got banned when he hacked me because I was " wasting their time that could be used solving real issues "

2 RepliesEdited by Roughneck: 2/20/2015 6:02:06 AMScammy guy wearing toupee and cheap suit: "Hey you, Kid! I can double your earnings on the stock market if you just give me $10,000!!!" The Kid 10 years later: "Damn, I just had quite the sense of déjà vu. It must be a sign from God! Here you go Mister!!!" **The next day the scummy broker is gone along with the money** The Kid: "PLEASE Bank of America, give me my money back!!! I didn't know it was wrong to trust complete strangers with my valuables!!!"

11 RepliesEdited by Shadow_Legion: 2/20/2015 8:23:44 PMNo the kid was actively trying to cheat. Bungie and Sony shouldn't do anything. His account wasn't taken it was given. And when he did that he left himself open to whatever that person wanted to do. He was even trying to make a video of how to cheat the -blam!-ing game and you want us to have sympathy for this guy? Why should I care that a kid attempting to cheat got his characters deleted? This is more like a situation of instant karma.

4 Replies"Send them home crying!"

I think the kid trolled you all for YouTube subs and views.
-
5 RepliesLol, dummies. If that kermit guy is interviewed, he won't get banned. The kid ain't supposed to play the game. It's a 16. He's 11. So technically, this guy could say 'O, I did it because... I hate it when kids play 16's and 18's. They are not supposed to. Umm... I was only trying to... Make him stop playing.' Ahh enough said. Stfu.

3 RepliesShouldn't be tryba glitch the kids fault Kermit was given the controller and under fair use to do what he did

What i find kind of disturbing is that this guy seemingly has a youtube channel showing how he does this kind of stuff on a nearly daily basis to others as well. And seeing threads from dec. 2014 containing warnings about this guy shows that hes been doing it for quite a while now. How someone can take so much pleasure out of the misery and pain of others has always been beyond me...

this is nowhere near swatting swatting is illegal and is done to people with no good reason whatsoever and people can be arrested and in some cases worst This was just a kid getting trolled.... everyone gets trolled but once but because of this one kid he gets all the attention -blam!- THAT

Kid learned a lesson
-
1 ReplyI feel sorry for the kid, he is young and its very devastating. But unfortunately he was trying to cheat. Hope he learnt a good lesson out of this.
-
14 RepliesWell can you blame kermit? he was clearly listening to Lord Shaxxx "SEND THEM HOME CRYING"
-
At first before watching this I was a bit on the fence about it. Yeah the kid was extremely naive and did a stupid thing, but he's like 11 for christ sakes with promises of riches by a level 32 "friend". Then I heard how upset he was and I immediately thought of my little brother and all the times he was picked on at school and I live hours away so I can't even be there for him and now I just feel sad. I hope Bungie can do something for this kid, I don't know how they'll be able to replace those characters, especially that Warlock but I really wish it was possible.

10 RepliesIm an xbox player, but i dont understand how Share play works. How does it cheat the game.
-
Sadly I think banning Kermit will not resolve the issue. He will just move on to other games maybe on a different psn account and do it to other gullible people. All we can do now as a community is stop using share play all together unless directed by Sony Playstation Customer Services.

Just because his characters got deleted, theres posts everywhere but the same guy did the same thing to a girl in December and they even posted a thread saying " Beware KermitThefrog". How many people cared? Nobody. There werent all these posts saying " ban kermit". You people suddenly care? Lol The fact somebody made a post WARNING ABOUT KERMIT LAST YEAR and some kid still trusted him is pretty funny. Happened to some older girl? Who cares An 11 year old? CALL THE COPS CALL THE FBI BAN KERMIT GET HIM SPAM HIS ACCOUNT WAHHHHHH
