they're raising attack stats again in how :/
Don't believe a word bungie says about "learning from the mistakes of
Te dark below", they're raising the attack stats on all weapons again, meaning we're going to have to do yet another upgrade
On our exotic weapons, it's pathetic how low bungie will stoop to increase people's play time, this sucks
Edit: the problem with these expansions Is every time one of them drops, all of the weapons we have become completely useless in pve compared to
The newer ones, let's
Be honest here who still uses
Shadow price in pve when they could
Use up or anything which has a 331 max attack compared to a 300 or
Whatever it was, same with crucible guns, I like the idea of having a fresh set of
Guns every dlc, but
That doesn't mean they should go and make our previous ones obsolete, same

1 ReplySo you want new content, without making our current gear useless? Without the "gotta catch'em all" the only thing left for this game is a few runs in pve and how ever much time you want to put into pvp. In order for them to add new content, new items/ cap increases must be put in also. Otherwise those of us that were lv30 before CE dropped would have already been at cap and again have nothing to really play for. You can make the play for fun argument sure, but progression/purpose+ fun is always better than just fun alone(imo).

1 ReplyThe entire structure of this game is about leveling and upgrading. You can't add new content in this structure without increasing levels for characters or weapons. Period.

What if it's like gear and all you need is the exotic shard and boom you're done new light lvl and upgraded. That would be handy

Just because they are raising the stats, dosent mean upgrading will be the same process as for the dark below. I dont mind them making me play more........sorta the whole point of destiny....its not like you play through it once, beat it, then never play again.....like so many other gsmes

Besides, this is what MMO's do. The newer expansions make the older ones obsolete. That's just how it works. Suck it up and continue to have fun in the game you've already sunk hundreds of hours into. Edit: be glad there's even a way to upgrade exotics so they don't get left behind.

They're going to raise the attack level for sure but they talked about how players didn't like the new economy system with the exotic shards, radiant shard/energy so I'm thinking they're not going to force us to grind for new materials and are just going to make things easier and simple.

Are you stupid? They NEVER said they werent raising attack numbers. They have to if you want your level to go up and guns still be effective...They said you wont ever have to completely reset your exotics again..and you wont. Youll simply have to level up to the next updrage from where you are....why should they just hand you a stronger gun?

I'm pretty sure Luke Timmins said that they wouldn't repeat errors from TDB and specifically mentioned the exotic re upgrading.
