Don't believe a word bungie says about "learning from the mistakes of
Te dark below", they're raising the attack stats on all weapons again, meaning we're going to have to do yet another upgrade
On our exotic weapons, it's pathetic how low bungie will stoop to increase people's play time, this sucks
Edit: the problem with these expansions Is every time one of them drops, all of the weapons we have become completely useless in pve compared to
The newer ones, let's
Be honest here who still uses
Shadow price in pve when they could
Use up or anything which has a 331 max attack compared to a 300 or
Whatever it was, same with crucible guns, I like the idea of having a fresh set of
Guns every dlc, but
That doesn't mean they should go and make our previous ones obsolete, same
Goes for
Raid gear

Gunsmith should upgrade our legendary weapons when HOW releases, would be nice
-
It would be nice if an MMO made the next evolutionary leap. If Bungie really had delivered on some of the grandiose claims we would have seen limited time in game events for holiday seasons. Global Faction levels would effect tower activities and/or public offerings. We wouldn't all be wearing the same Raid Armor acting like a bunch of unoriginal copycats. To Bungie's credit this is still better than all (or most) FPS offering. It's just a sad truth the same old soulless grind is required. Quantitive grind > Quality of play

1 ReplyWhooopdy friggin dooooooo. At least we have shit to do in this game again. Quit bitchin
-
I'm pretty sure they're gonna make it so it is like the Eidilon Ally when you add the Crux, you get a fully upgraded Necrocasm. But in Exotic's case you add an Exotic shard.

Edited by Numero Uno: 2/24/2015 1:14:42 AMWith higher leveled opponents of course they are. Do you have to? Of course not, suit yourself and keep you lower attacked weapons for whatever reason. Nobody is stopping you or telling you to do so. Now you might say "Bot m8, day gun dun m8ke meh do it fur dah raid." Well that is part of the reasoning of higher levels requiring higher damage. Nut up or shut up.
-
Lmao!! You're an idiot
-
My 300 guns worked for Crotas end just like my 331 guns will work for how... And my how guns will work for the next raid... That's how it works
-
2 RepliesNo crap they are raising the attack stats again. Its called progression, have you ever played an mmo or an RPG game before? These are how games like Destiny work. When Bungie said they "would learn from their mistakes" it means they are going to go about upgrading exotics in a way that hopefully doesn't require us to level the exotics all over again. Maybe they will make upgraded exotics gain more experience so they level faster, maybe they will make it so we only have to re-level the damage increase perks but all the ability perks stay active. Also, don't say something is stupid based on the fact that it has yet to happen. It makes you look like a fool.
-
No don't act like you know anything. Obviously they are increasing Attk stats, but if you knew you would realize they said that when you upgrade from xur you don't have to re upgrade the weapon
-
Truly you honor namesake by naively spouting stuff like this... This is standard mmo procedure, I'll put it this way, ask anybody in ffxiv a realm reborn that's a serious player if they still wear their ilvl 90 job gear.
-
I think the meant they'll be charging more money for expansions. Lesson learned
-
9 Replies10 years of WoW...Yup, new expacs mean your old stuff gets replaced.
-
1 ReplyWay to go on making a post without knowing the facts, you will fit right in on these forums.
-
They did imply that we would maybe not have to completely level all of our exotics up from scratch again though. I hope not at least. Hopefully, we will just have to re-buy them with all of their perks unlocked. I would be ok with that.
-
2 RepliesWhat I got from what they meant about the "mistakes" was when you had to RE-LEVEL your progression on the guns.. So this would mean to me. When you upgrade your gun, you will not have to relevel it. And same with the vendor stock not taking you higher than / to light level 32, because it renders the raid useless.
-
3 RepliesOF COURSE THE DAMAGE WILL INCREASE YOU LOGICLESS IDIOT!!! When they said they learned from their mistakes, they were talking about how exotics were upgraded and progress was lost, so they said they made a mistake, but they will solve that just by either making the gun to upgrade again with xur but without loosing progress, or by just an instant upgrade to all guns.
-
Have a theory they will add a new vendor to upgrade raid weapons. It makes sense
-
2 RepliesShould take a play out of the necro's play book. when the ally gets the crux its a fully upgraded necro, why can't the exotics be the same?
-
-
The exotic gear and weapon will auto upgrade (at least thats what i read from somewhere) but the problem is VoG weapon will be much more useless, thats bad cause i love VoG weapon :(
-
300 guns are still useful in 331 update. 331 guns will be useful in new update. That means you have about 8months at a time to use the same guns before you really have to get new ones.
-
With exceptions to exotics, i think weapons and armor shouldnt get upgraded with each expansion. I do believe they royally effed up on the dark below allowing you to basically bypass VOG. You should have to play the older levels to get to the highers light lvls. Just my .02
-
2 RepliesDamage doesn't mean shit people 331 fang of it yut- 470 to a knight in Crotas end 300 VOC-430 A full 40 extra damage points which don't make a difference because that 40 extra damage isn't enough to matter In the higher level missions/raids/strikes it'll still take 14 bullets from both to down that knight (headshots)
-
Yes we are, but I don't think we have to start from scratch this go around. We will just be upgrading from 331 to whatever. At Least for exotics anyways.
-
I still use 300 weapons on time its makes a difference right now is when in crota raid. Understanding how attack stats work in this game is a huge help. Just sayin
-
I still use fatebringer.
