What's the minimal KD ratio that you say, "meh, he's not bad." I avg. like 1.2-1.5 so anything over is A-OK to me lol.
Edit: I see very strong KDs from people commenting.. What setups work best, for you?
Edit2: So several people have suggested that the best way to judge your overall status in PvP, rather than KDr, is by using Destinytracker.com to view your DTR and such. My Crucible Summary is listed:
DTR: 16 - High Skill
Kills: Top 7%
Assists: Top 6%
Deaths: Top 6%
My KD and Win% are not worth mentioning but you are welcome to check yourself, if so inclined. I am curious what others are ranked? And what now is considered "good" according to DTR?
Edit3: 400 responses. Woot woot. Overall consensus seems to be anything positive means you're helping your team win. Lots of people consider KD irrelevant..still debating that one.

Anything positive means you were not helping the other team win.. So all negatives work harder, there's no room for mercy in the Crucible.

I love mine it's around 0.2

2 RepliesYour logic is flawed. In the crucible Katie does not matter, it's the amount of people you can piss off that matters.

Greater than 1.0 is helping your team

I have no idea what mine is if someone wants to show me?

0.66 (mine) haha

If we're talking about you look at someone's k/d and go damn, he's good. That would probably be someone who's roughly 1.75 k/d or higher. But better than average is about 1.2 to 1.5

Kills: top 6% Assists: top 6% Offensive and defensive kils: 2 and 3% respectively 1.61 k/d
most people would disregard me because i have a lot of shotgun kills
I don't play for max kdr and I average about 1.3, I play high risk/high reward for fun. If I only cared about kdr, I might be >2.0,but I'd be annoyed.
-
Destinytracker stats are pretty much "look how much I have played". KD 2.5> or anyone who can outsnipe me.
-
2 RepliesDtr is 23 but I have a crappy KD ratio from playing crucible as a noob but now I average 25 kills per game, I went 27 and 0 yesterday the medal you get is awesome
-
None it's just K.D
-
Anything above 1.0 if you ask me. This shows that on the average you at least kill as much as you die. Not really beneficial to the team score but hardly a hindrance either.

Edited by TerranTony98: 2/17/2015 2:10:10 PMFor me personally, anything above 0.90 as that tells me you still try but at the same time you don't take the game seriously. Edit: I also like feel like I carry the team, so low k/d dosent bother me.

1.5 overall is respectful in my eyes, I'm aiming for 2 even though I barely play it anymore but I'll get it eventually lol
-
1 ReplyAs long as my teammates have at least a 1.0 i consider them alright for holding their own. I usually get about 2.0 every match but I'm still trying to build my K/D up from when I frat started

Respectable KDR is 420.69

4 RepliesIt's a game, it's for fun. It doesn't matter. ALL k/d is fine. Just help the team win. (control) Ignore anyone who espouses k/d. Peace G
