If Xur sold Gally then alot of Gally owners would be mad....but why? You only got it because of RNG not skill
I see week after week posts about XUR SELLING GALLY THIS WEEK CONFIRMED...and in it every time i see some people who have Gally are like I WILL QUIT IF HE DOES.
Why though?
Only reason you have Gally is because RNG was gracious to you at one point and time....RNG has nothing to do with skill, it has nothing to do with time played, it has nothing to do with anything except RN.
Please if you are a complainer give me a good reason that it is bad to give everyone a Gally. And I already know the main response will be: IT WILL MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY. My response to that is THEN BREAK YOURS DOWN TO MAKE IT FAIR AGAIN, YOU ALREADY HAD A CHANCE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WITH IT SINCE YOU WERE ONLY BLESSED RANDOMLY AND NOT REWARDED FOR SKILL

6 RepliesObviously because it's going to be overused in PVP and whiners are gonna complain about how "OP" it is which would result in a nerf. I wouldn't mind if Xur sold it but here's something to consider - if Xur sold the Gjallarhorn, it would pretty much be the end game because it would end the grind, and that's something Bungie doesn't want. So unless Bungie brings out something better, Xur isn't going to sell it.

1 ReplyI don't want him to sell it because I want others to feel the excitement and overall flood of happiness when you see your rewards and there's the Gjallarhorn. It's not because we think you don't deserve it, at least I want you guys to feel the same excitement and feel the power.

Exactly how is getting Gjallarhorn in PVP or PVE, skill? You didn't do anything remarkable to obtain it. In other words, Xûr selling Gjallarhorn and obtaining it through PVE or PVE are both part of RNG, there's no skill to it.

5 RepliesI hope he wont, purely because it is one of the only guns that tuely feels exotic and should be hard\lucky to get. If he does sell it though i definitely wont quit - It'll be much easier to get people into raid completions. I still firmly believe there should be a mark next to the weapon is xur sold it to prove whether it was RNG or xurned.

IMHO I would be happy about it. The one thing the players who bought it miss out on is the overjoyment of getting it by RNG.

Great piece of kit, but there always needs to be one weapon in a game that is elusive to many. From Bungies perspective, it keeps the punters coming back. For me it's Suros and Mythoclast.

Play a Pc mmo, which has rng drops like WoW, kids on console complain with arguments like "I bought the game so I should get it" imagine the wow players who have to pay a MONTHLY subscription and still haven't gotten that one drop they wanted because they have to split it with their guild. They have spent probably 5 times more money with the monthly subscription than you guys have on the consoles your playing on. You guys need to stop complaining about not owning a weapon and instead keep trying until you get it so you can feel the excitement we all felt. Good day.
