If Xur sold Gally then alot of Gally owners would be mad....but why? You only got it because of RNG not skill
I see week after week posts about XUR SELLING GALLY THIS WEEK CONFIRMED...and in it every time i see some people who have Gally are like I WILL QUIT IF HE DOES.
Why though?
Only reason you have Gally is because RNG was gracious to you at one point and time....RNG has nothing to do with skill, it has nothing to do with time played, it has nothing to do with anything except RN.
Please if you are a complainer give me a good reason that it is bad to give everyone a Gally. And I already know the main response will be: IT WILL MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY. My response to that is THEN BREAK YOURS DOWN TO MAKE IT FAIR AGAIN, YOU ALREADY HAD A CHANCE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WITH IT SINCE YOU WERE ONLY BLESSED RANDOMLY AND NOT REWARDED FOR SKILL

The game is a cakewalk even without ghorn. I don't have one. I still squash every boss in the game like bugs. Hell, even my 12 y/o son with very few exotics, no ghorn, no rocket with tracking at all, and unleveled weapons can take down crota without dying. What does that say about the rest of you? I own gally and would be happy if xur sold it. I have 800+hours invested and 2weeks ago finally got it! But I would love to have 2 more. However it would make everything on the game really easy if everyone was rocking ghorn.

I hate posts about how we didn't "earn" the ghorn. We put in time and effort. We just happen to have been lucky enough to get it earlier than others. So, how do you earn it? Im really, really interested! Oh, and by the way, I would be glad if he did sell the ghorn because it's hard for my friends to get into hm without it

When will people learn, if it gets sold then the elitists won't be as needed which in turn starves them of the attention they love getting when it comes to raids

Because the only reason some of them get into raids is because they have Gjallarhorn and now people will look at skill not Gjallarhorns

Because we'll have a bunch of fake 32's with IB gear, and even worse, 31s running around in Crota Hard Mode thinking they're good enough to raid because they purchased a weapon from Xur like the scrubs they are. Only people who EARNED gally should use it, none of this crap for people who Xurned it. Not to mention it will get nerfed since everyone will have it, and it will no longer be a special weapon. Stick to your Hunger of Crota, scrubs. [spoiler]See how dumb that sounds? Bucket ready to collect tears for those who miss this spoiler.[/spoiler]

If you have an item that cannot function and or be attainable like the rest without breaking game balance then it needs a nerf or adjustment plain and simple. Again it's never been officially stated it's been pulled from Xur, it's seems to be rare like hard light or praxic fire. Doesn't mean it will never be sold again that's just speculation and rumors. The biggest issue and really the main reason it should be sold now is that it's gating people from content. There are so many posts for crota HM that require Gjallarhorn which is nuts but their group their requirements. Point being when you get into that behavior either nerf it or sell it to the public. It seems Bungie is more bent on pvp balance than the core of their player base.

To be honest, I think people don't want everybody to have the same good weapons as themselves because they like to identificate with a limited group of people and feel exclusive. In other MMORPGs it is easily possible by choosing a special class or something but in destiny there's the people who own hawkmoon for example or heart of praxic fire just because they're not obtainable for everybody and the people who own them are feeling special. I'm not saying this is good but I think it is an essential part of many games including destiny. The problem in destiny is imo xur because he destroys these several groups of players who own a specific weapon. So if he sells one weapon he has to sell every weapon because otherwise it wouldn't make any sense. Also if xur sells an exotic weapon it kinda declasses them like for example the icebreaker which is completely normal for everyone to have now. So concluding either let xur sell every weapon once including the gjallarhorn, or just remove him completely.

3 RepliesIts not as amazing as you think it is. It's fun, looks great but you will still only use it 2% of the time. If it was a choice of Gally or Hawkmoon, the hawk would win every single time

I would be glad. More people with Gally would make strikes/nightfalls/raids go much quicker. But then again, even more scrubs using gally in the crucible would be maddening.

Don't care what he sells, as long as he sells heavy ammo synthesis more often.

It doesn't matter this game is boring af now I could careless what happens in it from now on. I'll play the dlc when it drops for probably a week. It is just the same thing over and over since day one. Crota raid isn't even challenging or fun. It's just boring unlike VoG which is over played at this point.
