When You Die in a Hard Mode Raid ...
.. it's not time to pull out a packet of potato chips and painfully eat them with your mouth open into your microphone while the rest of your team mates are trying to finish the fight without you. You're already dead, don't become a distraction.
Pro tip: spectate your remaining team mates. With a 360 degree view of every surviving team mate, you can still contribute.
Even pro-er tip: mute yourself, I know it's hard to believe, but the sound of you eating isn't nearly as fun for the people who have to listen to it.

I tend to be muted unless I have something to say or shit hits the fan. That being said, the amount of times I've finished a PvP game with the clan that I'm in or been in raids giving call outs to teammates, only to here "Uh... Undead, if you're talking, we can't hear you..." at the end of the match... I can't even count that high.

I will usually turn off my mic but I have to admit, I occasionally forget to (I usually notice my mic in the corner of the screen and turn it off if I realize I'm making noise/distracting etc) it's always funny though when I take a nice rip and my teammates recognize the sound of bubbling water lol.

There's a trend in my group because when I'm home to log on its my dinner time as well. People don't know me unless they hear my eating. They all laugh

I -blam!-ing hate this! I play with one guy who it seems like always eats chips while playing, which is fine, but mute your mic. The mute button is right there on the controller while playing, I don't want to hear that shit. I actually kicked him once because of it... Couldn't take it anymore.

The rustling of the chip bag or the crackling sound it makes when they they roll it up is the WORST. A couple of my clan mates are die hard chip eaters, I can only imagine how greasy their controllers are.

One of our clanmates does this...I want to tell him to turn his mic off every time. He does it because it helps him with a specific ailment, which is fine...just don't make us listen to you cough it out.
