I'll admit, I thought maybe there'd be something more for the whole 'followers' thing. As it stands I've never noted any difference between people I follow and those I don't unless I deliberately look for it- tiny changes like the little blue line next to their threads is all I got.

I'm more of a medium guy with my favourite tanks being the object 140, the bat chat 25t and And the E50. Although the The T28 Prototype can dominate in the right circumstance due to it and it's brother the T28 being super slow but having great everything else.
