I like how you singled that dev out incase someone needs to take the blame for all the rage this will bring. Instead of focusing on nerfing weapons, bringing racing, and things no one really wants. How about bringing new content to satisfy your users? You take guns we like using and feel the need to weaken them instead of making other guns stronger. Why is that? It's bad enough you only brought such few new exotics that are comparatively weak compared to existing exotics. But, the raid has little to offer. What is intended to keep us coming back? You don't want the exotics we get to be overpowered. Everyone can get exotics so easily. The necrochasm is underwhelming. It's sad when a rare auto rifle can do just as well as a legendary or exotic in crucible. There should be a new rarity of weapon or armor that is super hard to obtain. These are just examples of what would be required: complete 500 or 1,000 strikes without dying(not in a row). Get 5,000 crucible kills or 1 to 2k kills with a specific weapon type. Kill a specific raid boss 20 times on hard mode. Break down 2k green engrams. Get a 1 to 2k KD spread(can be in patrol) I'm just throwing out ideas. These would be very time consuming to do. So completing this would actually feel like an accomplishment. But, the weapons and armor would be OP and worth the effort. Maybe they would be new weapon types?
I just feel that there won't be much to hold anyone over until HoW. I personally hope that you bring a survival mode with possible rewards in the future. Well, those are just a few of my opinions and ideas.
