Just want to know if it's ok to make more than one character of a same class.

Erm......... how is it screwing the system?

Lol funny how others think that there some law that prohibit this...grimoire...the right thing to do...lol. I started with a hunter and it was fun, then the raid came. Single character was taking me too long to reach the right level, so I made another hunter. Then I deleted the hunter and made 2 warlocks. Now I have a hunter, warlock and Titan. So far I think the hunter is going and keeping the Titan and 2 warlocks. Having a job and "life duties", needed a boost on upgrading. Do any of my teammates care? Pfft no...actually some also did it. Do it and have fun :)

Need to post again
-
Yes but only if they both have their seperate guns armor and items
-
It's ok I just deleted my hunter because I do not like playing as a hunter and does not suit my play style
-
No, it's totally against the law.

It's okay, you bought the game and you can do whatever you want in the game, 3 character with the same class, only 1 character becuase who needs 3, play a titan because yolo, etc...
-
I made two hunters to just get more goodies
-
Dont make me start this again
-
It's your choice, of course it's less fun but I don't disagree with it.
-
Play smarter not harder

Edited by RayazJC: 2/1/2015 12:59:44 PMYou can play however you want to. No one needs to "approve" how you play. However, if you wanna get the most out of your money, or even just have different aspects of fun. 3 different class characters is petty fun. I have a hunter titan and warlock (warlock being my first). They're all fun.

Dave, are margaritas gay because they are so sweet?

I think it's totally ok... I simply didn't have the time to be leveling 3 at one.. so I had a titan and a warlock (titan main) one maxxed and sometimes working on my warlock.. and I had a lvl 3 hunter.. so I ditched the hunter for a second titan to get to the 32 cap faster on my titan and warlock. now that both have capped.. I made a hunter again yesterday at the sacrifice of my second titan.. I didn't have the time.. now I do. it's all about how much you can manage and effective use of your time.. do what works for you man.. but eventually, I highly recommend rolling one of each just for the unique experiences.

Yup. I'd say you are missing out of the fun the other two classes can offer, but it's your choice. I've told people before in parties that if you don't have the time to fully play 3, or don't want to play 3 different characters, go with 3 of the same so you can have more chances at weeklies and nightfalls. Go with whatever you enjoy.

It's your game - play it the way that gives you the most fun. (As long as you're not spoiling other peoples). I'd say that the game encourages you to have one of each class, and you'd probably get the most fun that way, but having three of the same class will drastically cut down on the grind.

Edited by Kreepz: 2/1/2015 12:53:59 PMIt's your prerogative. I don't see the point personally, however you paid for the game like everyone else, up to you homie.
-
U paid 59.99 plus tax, you're allowed to play however you want. Dont let anybody else tell you otherwise. Its your game.
-
Play how you want, don't let anyone tell you different.
-
It's the noob thing to do, but yes it's ok. BUT save all the good gear you get for the other two classes, for one day you will grow balls and make new classes and have an awesome army of three different super soldiers. I had three warlocks at one point in time...i thought it was awesome!!! Looking back, i shake my head at myself.
-
Yes, do what you want and play it how you want
-
If you are that desperate to reach 32 then go ahead. But having one of each is more fun and you get to experience a lot more.
-
2 RepliesIt's your game don't listin to anyone Do what u want I hate hunters so I made 2 warlocks and a Titan
-
Yea its the best way to hit 32 quick
-
Unfortunatley destiny isn't what it could be and doesn't bode well for someone who likes a particular character and wants to continue developing that one character. So now i have 3 warlocks. Its up to you, its your game. In the end VOG left me no choice but creating 2 other warlocks to get to lvl 30. Boy, sure wish id have been smart and not purchased the game until the DLC came out.
