Why do 31s think that they deserve to be in the hard raid?
Are you really that bad that you couldn't get 63 shards and 3 raid armor pieces in 6 weeks
You wouldn't take a 28 into VoG hard mode so why do you think 32s should carry you through the raid
Edit: if your gonna raid attempt it with all other 31s and see how far you get, don't bring us 32s down

6 RepliesI have a 32 Titan, 31 lock, and 31 hunter. I can tell you now that acquiring raid gear has no skill involved unless you're unable to actually do it. Have all the gear on my Titan and lock but I'm still waiting on the boots for my hunter and I've done the raid every week, on every character since it came out (well except this one time I didn't do it on my Titan, BUT STILL) I get what you're saying tho.. 31s have no place for the hard mode unless there's like, one of them. I personally am only going to attempt it on my Titan with other 32s with ghorn or IB. Which at this point if you don't have an upgraded IB then, well, you might be bad^.^

11 RepliesTaking 31s on HM will be like taking 30s on normal. Make sure they've got good weapons, know the drills, and don't rely on them to carry the sword, and you should be okay. Having that been said, 31s top priority should still be NM for armor.

1 ReplyI've done the CE raid every week since it's come out, still haven't got a chest piece, and the hard raid for the first two or three parts should still be doable as a 31 or even a 30

2 RepliesI've taken a fricken lv27 into the VoG hard mode, guess what? They got more kills than both crappy lv32s in the whole raid.

32's are already at a disadvantage..level 33 enemies... you are 29 in a 30 raid pretty much, hard vog, why bring 28's? I don't think 31's belong in hard mode...32's kill crota in normal most of the time anyways....

Being bad and not having the time are not the same thing, believe it or not. And it's hard to keep track of who the hell we have to run all our raids through to make sure we are level compliant.

The logic is that if you are level 31 you are at a 2 level disadvantage In the 33 hard mode, that means that no matter how many times you have killed Crota your still pulling your team down. Get to 32 then worry about the hard raid.

You sir are the biggest dumbass I have ever read a post from. I have done the raid with 2 Titans every week and just have not gotten the drops I need which is a helmet and a boot.

Why make a statement like this? There is no match making in Destiny for raids. You HAVE to HAVE your team preformed before you go into the raid. You don't just add random folks. So you won't raid with 31s. That's cool, good for you. How many folks are here clamoring to get into Hard Mode at 31? If they want to, they can go try it with their raid team. Doesn't effect you so why get bent out of shape? I ask because I'm curious how people get to these rather odd conclusions...

Hey man I've been here day one and I've ran Crota so much. I just can't get the chest piece to drop for me. If my 32 friends brought me in the first two parts(lamps and Bridges) I could have double the chance of getting the chest. I don't want to fight Crota hard mode until I'm 32. This week feel like a week to get the chest piece. See you Starside Guardian

I'd take 31s. Most of them are better than the 32s I come across. They'll do a little less damage but they'll still get it done. I wouldn't even mind a whole team of them just as long as they have a decent load out and know what they are doing.

I agree. 31s should not try to have 32s carry them through hard mode. It sucks the RNG has really screwed some people but just keep hitting that normal mode. It'll happen for ya. 31s just want a shot at raid primaries before they are actually helpful in the raid. They think "well I can run normal and maybe get the armor I need to be useful or I can burden some people on hard mode and have a chance at armor and raid primaries." It's selfish really.

So many reasons to not be 32, especially when you have 1 of each class such as myself. I feel like whenever I see a post like the OP's they mistake Destiny for reality. It would be like me telling you why the hell you didn't hit Inheritor in the first 6 months of Reach? Just because one person hits 32 doesn't mean everyone else sucks for not caring as much about their pixels as you do. Lol...

And yes I would and have (successfuly) taken 28s into VoG hard
