How dare some one use the term 'RNGesus'

I'm a hypocrite myself but to see people use this term I'd unnerving. Please, Jesus is way far beyond this stupid game than to be even mentioned in the slightest to it. By freedom of speech your entitled, but if your christian you should know better. Edit: don't care to defend myself, but glad people are conversating about this.

Since I failed at my "troll" plagiarism experiment, I've decided to make up for it by making my own statement. I will be citing all sources and the like, and I hope my prose proves to be valid and enticing. --- While many authors of great arguments tend to start with the whole, "Why Christianity" bit, I'd like to go to those who are out there. Not way out there on the other side, but not real close to the sun either. They are in that nice, quaint Goldilocks zone, living happily; however, there is an issue. The Bible states in 2 Cor. 6:11-7:1:
11 Our mouth has spoken freely to you, O Corinthians, our heart is opened wide. 12 You are not restrained by us, but you are restrained in your own affections. 13 Now in a like exchange—I speak as to children—open wide to us also. Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. “and do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. And l will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
The issue I'd like to address is the fact that, according the the Bible on many occasions, not just what I chose to provide, states that if you are to conform to God's requirements (which, in fact, are close to nothing), you are stating that Atheism cannot exist. I believe this is a reason behind why so many Christians are so actively and passionately pursuing their goal of building His kingdom on earth, or "making the world a better place". What this is basically all about is the fact that Christianity has that small factor that God will not take, "I'm not sure," or, "Let me think about it," or even, "Maybe I could be an Atheist." So, if an all-powerful, perfect, loving, omnipotent God has the time to ask you that make-it-or-break it question, why would you not trust him to, quite literally, save you? Why, here's the perfect explanation!:
Let’s start with a quick experiment. You can grab three coins and actually do the experiment, or just do a thought experiment. Drop one coin and watch it fall. Do this again. Hold out the third coin. If you were to the release third coin, what do you think would happen? If you could get ten good Christians to pray that this next coin wouldn’t fall, would it still fall? How about one thousand faithful Muslims? How about one million people of any faith? I think that it would still fall. Drop the third coin.
What the author, Mark Thomas, is implying is the fact that faith itself cannot exist, because Science, a common base for active Atheists, has disproved all evidences of it actually doing something, or making a difference in the world around us. Hold on a second, didn't I just prove to you that faith exists because Atheism cannot exist? I did. The reasons both of these arguments are valid can go back, and back, and back; but I don't want to ramble. Here's another excerpt from Mark Thomas', "Why Atheism?":
OK, let’s do another experiment. If you were to take two coins and glue them together, then drop them at the same time as you drop a single coin, would they fall twice as fast as the single coin?
Even further into the article, Mark Thomas states:
Until just a couple of hundred years ago, most people thought that a god or gods controlled everything. Why did the wind blow? Why was there lightning and thunder? Why did the sun, moon, and stars apparently go around Earth? Why did someone get sick and die? Why did anything happen? Well, obviously, God did it. If a person doesn't know how something works or why something happened, they can say, “God did it.” This is known as the “god of the gaps,” or the “argument from ignorance,” and it is at the heart of the conflict between science and religion. Science looks for natural causes, while religion looks for supernatural causes.
The text I bolded was bolded for a reason. "Religion looks for supernatural causes for things." This is the modern definition of every Jewish, Islamic, and Christian person's thoughts of the world. A simple sentence. If anyone can degrade a person's mind and actions into one sentence, by God, they'd best be ready to prove themselves. Biologically the human mind is a wonder in it of itself, which isn't even tapping the surface of which our minds can hold. Imaginations, dreams, wishes, and so on! On a completely different note, Mark Thomas has just stated that Atheism, a now close-to-nullified religion, is simply a reasoning for things we don't understand - which would be correct. Not only did he include Atheism, but Scientology, and every other religion that has been proclaimed, "to not be a religion, even though we believe that this-and-that are wrong." I'm sorry, but if you can call the Bible illogical, I believe I can point out the logic behind that common belief. See a pattern here? Believing. It is such an overused word. I believe we've lost the true meaning. Believing in something is when you aren't sure, but that feeling in your gut is telling you that this just has to be right/wrong, etc. Now, what do you guys think? As I'm a Christian myself, I'm sure someone can call me out as a just another, "biased, doubtful Christian activist", but if this is the case, why would I go through the trouble to state both sides?

            • Your God doesn't exist! (NOTE: I am a Christian but people can say what they want and don't need Christians shoving their beliefs down their throats. The world had enough of that during the Crusades of the Middle East and the Spanish takeover/conversion of South America/Central America/North America.)

            • Lol at all of the theologists and historians in the comments stating their opinions as fact. It is documented by multiple scholars and authors that jesus lived, no debate about that. And for those dissing Christianity, leave him alone, its his choice. Op wasnt directing it at anyone besides Christians.

              • Ok so after scrolling down to see some the replys in this thread, as a Christian all will say is that ignorance will be your demise. Also religion is a topic you NEVER bring up in public. It will always make the hypocrites and sceptics come out to jam their opinion down your throat. It's never good!
