And why?
I have a 32 Hunter and now I must decide between my Warlock or Titan to take to a 32 before Crota's End Hard Mode hits.
Let's hear it. Play nice now..

4 RepliesWarlock , self Rez is best skill out there for hard raid
-
Titan for team event like raid. But deciding is hard considering i have 31 of every class.
-
My group usually hunts for Titans for shields. We like to have 2. One with weapons and one for shield regen.

Edited by Vercingetorix07: 1/3/2015 9:58:14 PMBoth have their merits - ultimately, the individual piloting the class is what determines the effectiveness of that class. A titan who bubbles in front of your rocket or runs into a group of thralls and gets blown to pieces is a complete liability. A warlock who can't aim a nova bomb to generate orbs or immediately dies after a self-rez is just as worthless.

6 RepliesIf no cheese.. A Titan Especially with saint 14 defender class Even without it the bubble helps on Crota with weapons of light, generating orbs as well
-
2 RepliesEdited by Wrath: 1/4/2015 12:40:26 AMWeapons of Light is the only reason to run a single Titan. If you're a bad player and intend to die in the hard raid, play sunsinger. If you're good and can survive, play Gunslinger/Voidwalker For the extra DPS and ranged crowd control.
-
2 RepliesTitan if we're talking pve. Bubble is my friend, it protects me from harm and supports me in taking down creatures of the darkness
-
1 ReplyTitan smash!!!!
-
Depends what you are doing....

2 RepliesEdited by I Porky83 I: 1/3/2015 9:02:40 PMClasses are bullshit if you don't know how to play. All classes are valuable if you know how to handle them...it always makes me laugh when I read about people thinking their class would be superior

A good player is a good player. I have a friend playing mostly as a hunter. I'd get that guy over anybody. Does anyone agree? I like both locks and titans by the way.

I would say a Warlock. You can use either Sunsinger or Voidwalker (equipped with Obsidian Mind) to produce more orbs than any other class. Also, if you ever get overrun by Thrall in the Lantern portion of the raid, you can self res and hopefully be the person that can finish that part without having to wipe. I assume all the cheeses that require a Warlock to use Fireborn will be patched by this time so don't get all "Oh, that's a crutch!" without knowing proper uses for Fireborn. Both subclasses can be used to keep enemies away by using the AoE grenades and supers (Solar and Vortex Grenades and the Vortex perk for Nova Bomb. Use Sunbreakers and Vortex Mastery respectively for best controlling power) Both Subclasses can be very useful whereas the Titan only has one sub that I think could perform exceptionally well, that being Defender. I say this because the Striker subclass needs to be close to enemies for massive DPS whereas both Warlock subs don't need to be. I don't want to start an argument either, I'm just stating uses for Warlocks that I use myself so I know these work well. That said, please feel free to add any more good uses of either of the Warlock subclasses!

Is a warlock good for anything besides cheesing and dying a lot?
-
R u a team player or a massive damage dealer?
-
Don't listen to people saying warlock sunsinger because that's not even useful one bit during Crota end part, nor the bridge part maybe just maybe a tad bit useful in the beginning . Go with a titan, defender.
-
I'am not contributing to your poll as there is no fair choice in it. a Titan and Warlock are both useful for different things.
-
Edited by Its_Trip: 1/3/2015 11:58:24 PMFor the hard mode go with a warlock for self revive. Your bubble isn't any more powerful a 31, but being able to revive as a 32 could be crucial
-
3 RepliesWarlock, as long as it is a Sunsinger. You'll need self revive sometimes. Voidwalker is useless for CE.
-
32 guardian that's not a scrub
-
It's not the class that you use, it's how you use it, guardian.
-
I know this wasn't the intent of the post but this has turned into an all out class war
-
I have a 32 warlock and a 30 hunter. I dont really see a difference in difficulty. Also whys everyone complaining about warlocks having self rez when during the raid or nightfall we end up saving the day when everyone else is dead.
-
7 RepliesWarlock "master race", what a joke. Definitely the easiest and most noob friendly class of all.
-
Witch hunters...
-
So long as your team has 1 Titan, you don't need another. It may be helpful, but it's not necessary.
-
I use a warlock, but I think using your titan is better. Bubbles help more than our self rez.
