I've never gotten past the first part of the Crota Raid with all the thrall around even with a fireteam. i've tried experimenting on my own to see if theres any other way to run down the path safely but nothing seems to work. Can any fellow Guardian help me resolve this?

Run Forest RUN

Go to each lamp, get all the darkness off of you. Jump onto top of the lamp. Crouch till invisible. Run to next lamp. Repeat.
-
Our group has a blade dancer hunter with media tool. He usually runs ahead and stands just before activating a lamp, turns and covers his team comming up the path. Every 3-4 lamps we stop and generate some orbs to get supers powered up and clear stacks. A Titan with Helm of Saint -14 can chain bubble shields and melee to victory. Use warlock sunflare grenades to seal off the thrall if we need a break. At the top we just bubble shield and everyone spawns orbs for our titans and we just chain shields.
-
Stop every second lamp to regroup, clear out enemies and heal
-
If you wanna go *the way it's meant to be played* (no, I'm not bashing anything, shut the -blam!- up) have 3 guys watching the front and 3 guys watching the back. Fatebringer is AMAZING on this part of the raid, 1 headshot=a ton of dead thralls. Try to find the next lamp quickly and call out each and EVERY single hole you see.
-
Stand on the lamps.
-
Just chain supers. Someone super at 2nd lamp others grab orbs, someone supers again at 4th lamp etc etc
-
Stick as a group. 2 watch front, 2 watch back and 1 each for the sides. Call out holes, cursed thralls and knights. If people are lagging behind, provide support at the next lamp, then move as a team again. As for the bridge, titan bubbles are very useful. Make sure you waste the ogres or they will waste you. Then just run towards the light. Have fun at the next part :)

Invisibility. You can solo it like that
-
My group walks slowly and revives as we go. Its all about comincation. Call out cursed thralls and always wait for others. Fire on the thrall behind and ahead usually just one on the firing ahead until the group enters the light.

Try to stay together first of all. No stragglers! Run past lantern 1 and hold up at 2. First people to get there immediately turn around and shoot the thrawls that are undoubtedly swiping at the people who are last. Let weight come down to <4 and all go together. Again, stragglers get the whole team killed. You basically just repeat that until the end. If more than one person makes it to the end there will be two ogres that spawn once the plate is activated. Kill them to proceed. Pro tip #1: if the group gets a little separated, whoever is in the lead can turn around BEFORE activating the next lantern in the sequence and let people catch up some and THEN activate it. Pro tip #2: at the final plate, have one or two guardians stand on the short rock directly to the left of the final lantern. The thrawls can't hit you there at all. DO NOT jump on the rock until after the lantern explodes or it will Launch you off the map. Pro tip #3: patience and time's invisibility when looming down the sights will help line up the the ogres to kill them.

I run with my last word and play as a hunter so i have a large agility stat. Sprint and dont shoot, leave your team at spawn and run 2 circles around each lamp and the thralls cant get you. If you get over run go back a little but dont stop. If you make it all the way or die close to it send your team together from the start. There will be no thralls(they are all by you) so they can easily revive you and go to the platform. At the platform have hunters constantly go invisible behind the rocks in front of the bridge, while titans and warlocks kill the thralls. If anyone goes down just go invis and revive them, they cant shoot you while invis. Then when the bridge is open run.

Keep running. Stay at lanterns for as short of a possible time. Most likely only a few seconds to get your weight of darkness down to X1 or none depending how far you had to run and if all ur teammates are keeping up. Don't lag behind and if you do, you're either going to make your teammates wait for you or die. When you die, let your teammates to keep going because you're only gonna get them killed. Use a weapon that is good at mobbing such as the Vex Mythoclast, Bad Juju (also reloads ur super faster so you can spam that), fusion rifle, anything with firefly, but do not use rockets because you will end up blowing up your face if thralls bum rush you. Call out when to go and where the next lantern is so no one gets confused.

1 ReplyI hear there's this new invention called "YouTube". You might want to check it out.

clench ur butthole and run like hell, lol straight up 2 easy ways, number 1 always sprint past lamp 1 hold up at 2, now if the first 2 people there, turn around and cover ass, then proceed when whole team there, again first 2 call directions to lam, move turn, hold ur ground number 2 i dont no how but theres a vid using the lamp to bypass 2/3 of this area, google crota lamp trick

1 ReplyHave warlocks throw granades at the lights while stand there run to the next light repeat
-
1 ReplyUse your invis mate. Invis when crouching and stab turns you invis as well. Use them and you'll be fine :) just hide behind the lamp for a red glow to come off you then crouch to turn invis. If a thrall spots you, stab it and run to the next. When you get to the platform at the top. There's a rock next to the lamp you can jump on and rocket the ogres. Then bridge should be built and run for it! Hope that helps

Watch the video how to solo it. I did it with my hunter, Titan, and warlock
-
Sprint to each lantern while ignoring thrall. When your fireteam hits each lantern clear behind and in front, let debuff drop to 2 stacks and aprint to the next lantern. Fighting them while moving will get you killed.
-
Stay in the spawn for 2 minutes then waddle slowly reviving all of the dead along the way.
-
Ensure they receive after class help and offer ample tutoring. Only then will they pass.

Stick together und rush! You have to be real quick! Run, stay next to the light and have some of your team look backward and some look forward and clear the thralls behind you. When everybody has 1x or no weight then run to next light. Make sure you spot the holes and warn your team.
