EV-32 Snowblind, the name lets me think that we will get this reskinned EV30-Tumbler for Xmas...

Devs give out little gifts and perks but nothing is ever going to me OMG or game-breaking. If that's what you were expecting in any of these instances then shame on you, not Bungie.

I would have liked a special item that lets you upgrade one item to level 32. If that were the case, i would have loved to upgrade my jolder's hammer to 331 attack.

I believe that DeeJ specifically said "gifts". While a Sparrow is likely part of it, as there was some speculation around the naming of that particular one when it had first been found in October, I would imagine that there is more to it than that. No matter what, Bungie is very calculating in what they convey. The Cryptarch involvement in the graphic included in the article simply cannot be accidental or coincidental. Is it a gift that is taken to the Cryptarch, or a change related to the Cryptarch? No idea. Reading between the lines, though, I think that part of what we are to get is also not released or pushed yet. There is an implied patch coming once they are back from the holidays, too. What I find myself wondering is, if it is related to what DeeJ teased, that it might also be something in the form of something else, mechanics-wise?

I pre-ordered tdb, got the sparrow. It's fun I think people will like them. I think I like the looks of that one a little better.

1 ReplyWell.....Now I can understand why players "Cheese" to take advantage of the raids..... IMO....Players take what they can, while they can (Before Patches?) because BUNGIE gives very little while "Steering" players into the direction they want them to go....ie: PVP/IB.....Don't "Farm" for the Husk o da pit......No looting of caves etc, etc, etc... So players have adopted a "get mine" attitude of sorts (IMO) Think about it?? When you have to deal with the "Crooktarch" with his cheap ways and the RNG from Crucible/IB, Strikes & Raids, I believe that players say......"well....I prolly won't get much of value whether I cheese or play raids legit....So.....WTF??? These are just my thoughts on the situation based on our latest "Xmas Gift".....if it truly be the sparrow, BUT....who knows?? ijs

Not ungrateful—free anything is free, and fa la la la laa and all that. But a sparrow? Kind of fights for air time with the one they just gave us for Dark Below.
