For Those who bash the Hard Light
For those who think they know about the Hard Light and why it sucks...you obviously haven't used it enough to push the limits. While my headshot ratio might seem low for about a week Destiny didn't register headshots...and this happened 2 or 3 times. So I should have roughly a 40% headshot ratio with the Hard Light. And for those who still doubt even after this link https://twitter.com/aford_73/status/545058615640735746?s=09 let me tell you this...It's absolutely beast in BOTH RAIDS! You clearly don't know how to use the weapon. And as for the 1 Suros kill...I bought it from Xur in the first few weeks...went to use and fire it. Took a quick look, saw the Focused Fire and dismantled immediately. It's a joke of an assault rifle perk. Why not be a Scout Rifle at that point?

Just got Hard Light last night in Gorgon Chest CP. un-leveled, I'm already liking it. Very different than my Suros, which is why I probably enjoy it so much. Suros is good but I find it boring. This like you said, has character. I'm exticed to get it upgraded to have the fitted stock perk and see how it runs then

I got Hard Light from one of the previous Iron Banner's pre-patch, and I fell in love with it. People say that it sucks because you have to fight the recoil, but I for one think it gives the gun [i]character[/i]. After awhile though, I moved on to Timur's Lash and The Last Word, because at heart, I'm a Hand Cannon kind of guy. About two months later, after having played other games, I come back, and break it out again once Xur had the upgrade for it. It was like meeting an old friend for the first time in awhile. Even baseline, I fell right back in love with Hard Light 2.0. The sound, the feel, it's easily my favorite Auto Rifle, and I've gotten some great Crucible matches in with it, getting 35 Kills, 5 Captures, 2.0+ KDR in one of the recent DLC Control playlists. SUROS Regime can go ahead and back up. Hard Light is where it's at.

Owned suros and hardlight. I got hardlight first an tried it out i think its terrible and then got a suros and loved it to upgrade the suros i dismantled my hardlight. Well worth it. [spoiler]just got hardlight from nightfall today i got free upgrade for hardlight and suros[/spoiler]

It's not a bad weapon and I am going to finish leveling it. I just prefer my Vex for normal CE. might all change come hard mode. Those 8 points might make all the difference

I've said for a while Hard Light would be great in VoG and possibly better in CE due to all the cqb areas with tons of enemies. I don't like assault rifles at all in this game. I started out using them in the beginning (hence like 1075 kills, been at that number for like damn near 2.5 months) trying to find that one weapon and weapon class that I could call home for this game. Fell in love with scout rifles and hcs, haven't looked back.

Now with that said I wouldn't use it all the time in PVP, it's just not cut out for certain maps. If you're going to bring this baby into the crucible I HIGHLY recommend getting the stability perk first, and if you wanna even think about bringing it into the raid you better have a 2.0 maxed out with field scout talent selected.

It's not bad. Really good at close range. Great oracle killer in vog. At longer ranges suros is better, but hl wins at close range.

Still busy leveling hard light, I hope it get's more stable with the fitted stock.... at the moment around 46% precision kills.... 56% on my Suros.... But Hard Light is more fun... like the looks and sound of it..

I enjoy focused fire on an AR. Makes into a hybrid AR/scout while maintaining low recoil and a higher clip.

Nothing against hardlight it's a great gun and easily in my top 4-5 guns but Idk I'm more scout/ handcannon guy so maybe that's why I like the slower ROF

I want the Hard Light. Can you help me getting one ? There's too much confusion, I roamed everywhere, opened every chest but still it eludes me... Maybe in a thousand billions years, when all life will be extinct, I'll find my light and leave/live in peace. :)

People light me up with this thing.. it does just as much damage as if your own teammate was shooting at you. It's complete and utter trash, and yes I have it.

My favourite exotic after icebreaker. Which TBF I've only just got. It took a LOT of getting used to and I loved it pre patch. If you could destroy with it Pte patch then you will no doubt be in love with it even more post patch. Insane ROF but with far more impact than aetheons epilogue Large mag so glass half full causes serious impact and the over penetraton makes me smile Out of all the weapons I've used its the one that makes me smile the most. Biggest PITA is that I haven't maxed it out as they dropped 2.0 so it seems a waste of resources until I can shard it up

Got a 2.0 hard light a few days ago and have been waiting for this gun for a long time and was not disappointed at all. People said it was bad but I didn't believe them and they were sure wrong. I love this gun so much!
