I've seen angry Editor opinions pop up from kotaku and polygon about the dark below. Forbes also had a well written article about it, believe it or not. Maybe the bad press will kick some sense into the idiots in charge of this game.

5 RepliesBut here's the thing. Polygon has hated on Destiny since before it released, and Polygon is known for writing negative, poorly written and I'll-informed articles in general. Kotaku is a blog site, where most content is presented in editorial format, as the opinions of the writers. And for all the negativity Jason Schreier (Kotaku writer) spews about Destiny, he admits to constantly playing it still, so its hard to take him seriously. Forbes on the other hand, is somewhere I never go to read about video games, so I could care less what they said.

any press is free press. the only thing that matters are facts, and no article has any real facts. just opinions. just like any forum.

2 RepliesYes,cause I know that I,for one, base my life and what I enjoy on what an article says I should so I don't have to think for myself. Every single issue from major bugs to the most minor nit-picky things in this game have been beaten into the damn ground and shoved in everyones faces. Has that stopped people from enjoying the game? Sure. Has it made people upset? You posted on these forums, you know the answer to that question. Are people still playing? Absolutely. Are they enjoying themselves? Yep. Having fun with friends and clan mates? At the end of the day it's a -blam!-ing game people. Is it all the bells and whistles we all hoped it would be? It's up to you as an individual to decide that part. If you played the game longer than a week you got what you payed for. That is the nature of games these days and you are lucky you got more than a week out of it with how most games are now. Minimal story and few and far between advancments in mechanics and inovation. There are still titles out there that deliver with time spent and the experiance you had but that number stays low as yet another COD gets shoved out that no one really wanted in the first place.

7 RepliesDon't trust pretty much 95% of reviews on pretty much all games sites because you don't know whos been given a kick back. I found that out with the crowd funded reboot of Shadowrun. I enjoy Destiny, that's enough for me.
-
Eh, they can hate all they want. It won't change the fact that I like it lol.
-
They don't care because they are money hungry pigs
-
2 RepliesI want ported Skyrim.
-
Forbes is a joke when it comes to gaming reviews. Same guys who thought Souls games are too hard and punishing, bunch of babies.
-
They're all a bunch of overdramatic whiny children. Was TDB perfect? No.Is it something to be "up in arms over"?No. People need to just calm down.

Here's the deal with destiny in my opinion. It's good, graphics and gameplay is really really good. It's also bad, story line and glitches are HORRIBLE. I like the game, it's great, but there is a lot of things wrong with the game itself... Which is why it gets bad reviews. But it plays very well, so I keep playing it

Edited by ShuggyConehead: 12/16/2014 6:15:14 PMWho's the idiot? Still trolling the forums for a game you hate so much? And still playing the game apparently...

2 RepliesEdited by vVvKrewel: 12/16/2014 5:50:52 PMNone of those 3 have much merit, they may have intresting articles from time to time but mostly Negative trash talk.
-
1 ReplyThey're all parroting what the whiners and babies on the forums here post about. This is why we need to drown out all the negative people who suck at this game on these boards.
-
Bungie needs to hire someone that knows what they are doing. They are winging it. This is a beta for D2.
-
5 RepliesAfter reading their interviews in this months Game Informer, I don't have any hope for Bungie. They made it sound like creating skippable cutscenes was a huge issue they simply couldn't resolve.
-
6 RepliesDon't trust those sites. Don't trust any game media for that matter. It's all political.
-
Those sites suck.
-
9 RepliesI wonder how all these noobs get jobs as game reviewers when most of them can hardly play , I read one the other day and he said there's no point levelling past 26, he must have been a retard
-
5 RepliesOr maybe all those article authors will get a life and realize that there's more to it than being a tryhard diehard gamer.
-
2 RepliesI will repost a quote from someone else: "The people who hate the game are on the internet, and the people who love the game are on the game."
-
The Forbes article was anything but well-written. It seems their games "journalists" can be described as casual gamers at best. Kotaku hasn't been a reliable source of information for years now, unfortunately, and the Polygon article, while raising some decent points, seems to be going way over the top as an act of click-baiting. There's plenty you can criticise Destiny and the DLC for, but a lot of what these guys are saying is over-the-top for the sake of web traffic.

27 RepliesThese articles are hilariously biased. Without trying the raid and the strike they decide to right about TDB. It's funny, as there are multiple polls out there that shows players overwhelming support of the dark below. The articles you read are a joke

4 Repliesdon't have high hopes…. activision is still in charge...
