The Gunsmith should do what Xûr does, but with legendaries.
Title says it all. I'd love to see this happen as he needs the work.

Maybe buff the Speaker while we're at it-if his busy schedule would allow for more foot traffic. Isn't he supposed to be somewhat of an important figure? I think the sweeping robots do more than he does.

This is a truly great idea, especially considering all of the great guns that I have that are now on the trail of obsolescence: my Cryptic Dragon with [i]Firefly[/i], my Shadow Price with insanely fast precision kill reload speed, my Vanquisher VIII with [i]two [/i]stability perks, all of my raid weapons (especially Fatebringer), my LIGHT/Bewares (I love them all). The Gunsmith is nigh useless anyways, so this would be excellent.

This is a good idea. Until the time comes when we can make custom weapons (if it'll ever happen; don't get your hopes up to high), it would be perfect for Banshee to implement re-buffing services for, at least, non-Exotic weapons. The reason he wouldn't do Exotic weapons is because of, well, their exotic nature......though, come to think of it, that would defy Banshee's description of knowing weapons and knowing more how to fix them. o_O But yeah. Him specializing in re-buffing Legendary weapons would not only make sense, but also be awesome since I like some of the Legendary weapons (the VoG Raid weapons, mostly).

So basically you want to take your Vision of Confluence from the first raid right to the end of the game. That gun would then be the best Scout rifle in the whole of the game... for ever. The fatebringer would dominate the hand cannons. That is not how it works!

Great thought. I'd almost forgotten that the Gunsmith existed at all, he is so irrelevant, just like all my raid gear. Why create a vendor and let him just be completely useless? Rename him "Ammo Smith".

I really like this idea. Huge +1 I love shadow price and I'm upset it was not replaced with a similar rifle. A system like this would be fantastic.

Legendaries - for the most part I don't care. But vision of confluence alone makes me want this. It's by far my favorite. beyond it's great stats, having another elemental damage type on your primary opens up so many tactical options.
