The Gunsmith should do what Xûr does, but with legendaries.
Title says it all. I'd love to see this happen as he needs the work.

Great idea - I do not know what plans Bungie has for this NPC (they likely have something in mind beyond his current uselessness) but I think a weekly sale on legendary weapons might be a good way to keep him relevant.

There is a gun smith? I was level 20 the day the game came out and I buy heavy ammo from xur usually. What does this gunsmith do?

Petition signed. There needs to be other ways to buy stuff besides marks. I've been sitting at the 25k glimmer limit forever. Plus I have a stockpile of the items you turn in for 200 glimmer.

The vanguard and crucible guys already do what Xûr does for legendaries. Unless something has changed recently that wasn't broadcasted as usual or i've misunderstood.

1 ReplyThe gunsmith needs better wears and so does the cryptarch. My ideas? Cryptarch gets new inventory right? Randomly give him one item as a rare Engram. Now before i get too many harsh words let me explain why it's good. 1000 glimmer for a rare engram. People will use to level their cryptarch. It's randomly placed so it's the definition of RNG. People will play more to get the glimmer up so they can power level their cryptarch level. Since its only a 3 hour cycle it would encourage bursts of play. The gunsmith now. Gunsmith gunsmith gunsmith. Pick one of the legendaries in the tower. Give it a random roll of perks. This would push more traffic to these two vendors

I would love this. I'd love it even more if he sold his own unique stuff for Vanguard marks because the only place I can use them has crap legendaries. This would save me the effort of going AFK or dying as many times as possible in Crucible just to get marks.
