Are all of you seriously okay with what Bungie is doing?
From the beginning Destiny was being promoted as this narrative epic, which turned out to be an absolute lie. They keep stuff out of the game so that they can use it as DLC later down the road so that you have to pay more for things that should have been in the game day one. The game is unbelievably repetitive as is already. Go into the raid to get raid gear. Keep doing that until you're a level 30. DLC is out, time to do the raid until you're a level 32 or whatever. Now Bungie has the gall to make certain aspects of the game unplayable unless you pay $20 more to play something that should have been in the game anyway? Bungie doesn't give a shit about you or me, or any "fan." They only care about making more money, even if it outcasts a bunch of players in the process. All of you fanboys are too brainwashed to realize it anyway, and even if they made the DLC $100 you'd still buy it because you see nothing wrong with anything they do. Ever since they cut ties with Microsoft and started working with Activision, they're slowly becoming worse and worse. Hodor.

I agree that bungie is doing a bad job with destiny. It has in no way lived up to it's potential. The story telling sucks, and the end game is a grinding mess. That being said it is addictive and fun. The shooting is tight and the guns are cool. Plus I already ordered both of the Dlc.

OK, If you're one of these people that hyped Destiny up to be the second coming of Christ then you need to get a grip of yourself, this is and always was going to be a shooter with RPG mechanics, I expected that and that's what I got. There has clearly been cut content but I think this is more of a Halo 2 type issue where Bungie have planned big and delivered as much as they could which is a shame. The DLC practice is a bit shit and I'm not totally onboard with that if I'm honest but they're no more evil than any other dev out there right now. Looking at Destiny post release though it has gotten more updates than any other AAA game that I've played in the last few years so I'm happy with it.

Do you know what a narrative epic is? Have you complained about Lords of the Ring, or Star Trek, or the Avengers, or any other movie franchise? Narrative epic means short stories strung together to make a meaningful story. It is different than a novel since each speaker (Awoken Queen, Eris, Dead Orbit, Cryptarch, the Speaker, etc...) all have a story to tell in this world. And I don't appreciate being called brainwashed because I like the product.

I believe Bungie wanted to finish the game, but Activision made Bungie ship the game early and with it, decided on the DLC to make more money out of us all. The game was shipped early and unfinished, and even though Destiny was planned as a great game, it still turned out to be a good game, I think this is why we are buying that which should not be. We just love the game, finished or not, and in turn bought the DLC even though it was not mean't to be. I did not want to buy the DLC, for reason's you stated, yet I did anyway. If you like some thing, you go for it. Right or wrong, and even though I know I was wrong for buying the DLC, it was the right thing to do, because I wanted it. It make's no real difference how Bungie messed up, just think of it the way I do. I have seen more update's for this game in the few month's it has been out, than I have seen in ten year's of World of Warcraft. Bungie released a game not finished, because they were told to, yet they have worked tirelessly since it's release to try and rectify their mistake. As for the mistake on DLC, that is the fan's fault for loving the game. And, Activision's for being greedy bastard's.

Nope , Bungie is being cheap and pathetic. It's not about the money, I would pay 30 - 40 euro for a good amount of quality content. I don't care about the raid. So 20 euro for 1 strike (half new strike, since you spend 50 % of your time fighting in the "The last array" & ""The Warmind" areas) , 3 missions (45 minutes) and 3 crucible maps is just silly.

Breeze through the incredibly basic story and strike gameplay to level up you character and play the one thing they bothered to put any creativity or thought into. The raid shouldn't be the one defining feature. It should be the cherry on top for the high level /skill players. As it stands it's the only part of the game that people seem to have good things to say about.

People keep complaining and complaining. Dont play it no more. I dont see the big deal. If you dont like a game. You quit. Its that simple. But everybody keeps playing so know now that this is how its going to be. At least its not a subscription game like elderscrolls online, which is shit. I bought the ghost edition of destiny. 150 bucks! Im a little bitter but I learned my lesson and continue on with my life. If you dont like destiny, there are a lot of other games to be played.

Bungie in a nutshell.. While working for microsoft, they come from nothing and become a decent studio.. acting like they care about their fans etc.. Then they split off from microsoft, now Bungie who owe everything to microsoft for making them something, spit in their face, slinging words about how evil microsoft is as they are making promises and not keeping it, and even removing content to sell back to us while selling out their souls to to activision... holy shit.. they signed a $500m deal, and yet they really need to nickle and dime the players for everything.. ? Oh yeahh... Microsoft sure must be evil.. At least Halo wasn't such a rip off as this... those hypocrites.

I don't think they had a choice. It seems like they are trying to recover from internal struggles. Since I have the season pass I'm reserving my judgement until House of Wolves. If they seem to be back on track I'll stick with them. Until then, I'm trying to stay optimistic.
