From the beginning Destiny was being promoted as this narrative epic, which turned out to be an absolute lie. They keep stuff out of the game so that they can use it as DLC later down the road so that you have to pay more for things that should have been in the game day one. The game is unbelievably repetitive as is already. Go into the raid to get raid gear. Keep doing that until you're a level 30. DLC is out, time to do the raid until you're a level 32 or whatever. Now Bungie has the gall to make certain aspects of the game unplayable unless you pay $20 more to play something that should have been in the game anyway? Bungie doesn't give a shit about you or me, or any "fan." They only care about making more money, even if it outcasts a bunch of players in the process. All of you fanboys are too brainwashed to realize it anyway, and even if they made the DLC $100 you'd still buy it because you see nothing wrong with anything they do. Ever since they cut ties with Microsoft and started working with Activision, they're slowly becoming worse and worse. Hodor.

the game is a major let down for me, but the only other game I play is madden occasionally. I only get about 2 hours of gaming in a week so Im just glad I didnt buy the expansion

Am I okay with a company doing whatever it takes to make money? Yes. At the end of the day it's just sales and everyone with half a brain knows sales pitches are full of bs. That's how they hook people who don't think things through 100%. It's their world to create and change how they please. It's a choice for us to be a part of that world. If anyone doesn't like what Bungie is doing, they can choose not to be a part of it. It's not like any of the players were forced to invest into the experience at gunpoint.

I would continue to play but not while I don't pay the same as everyone else. As far as I'm concerned I completed the game so I've moved on. Would rather spend more on something better than less on something dragging it out.

Since when is a DLC model that saves you system memory and just involves buying the key a bad idea?

1 ReplySo theyre just like ever other corporation out there. Their number one goal is to make money. All businesses every where operate this way. Do you think your cell phone company, internet provider, walmart, chipotle, mcdicks or any other company "care" about you, or me or anyone outside the top 1 percent of said company? They dont. They never have. They never will. Their in business to make money not give people warm and fuzzy feelings on a daily basis. If you dont like the game then dont play it. Its that simple. I am not agreeing with what bungie/ activision did but I learned a long time ago not to believe everything said or shown by a company, especially ones that make video games. This is why I rent every single game I play before I decide to buy it. But seriously, no company/business really "cares" about you or me or really anyone as long as they keep making that money.

Sometimes, you just can't help it when the heart and soul of your narrative staff leaves the company. That's reality. Tell me which core strike you can no longer play. If you really want to talk about repetition, I have over 55,000 kills on my Titan.
