74 RepliesSo the new dlc will let u do all the work on weapons/armor you have done, over again. Hey I have an idea just take all our stuff and let us grind to find it all over again too. Set our characters back to zero while your at it. That's sounds like a blast. Just charge us 20 bucks to start the game over. Or Just let us F'ing UPGRADE from where we are!!! Good god bungie. And what about the raid weapons we spent months trying to get? why the hell can't we upgrade those. Bungie your biggest problem is you don't respect your players time and effort. Pressing reset on months of work is NOT fun. You had too many people liking the new patches so you had to go back to your old ways. You just ruined the dlc. Instead of looking forward to getting new weapons and upgrading current ones. We'll spend 90 percent of our time. Re-doing the last three months. Or more likely just let go of most of weapons and armor it took FOREVER to get. So now Ice breaker, Galji and one piece of armor. Is all most will upgrade over again. This is the worst of all your bad ideas....smdh.

Constructive criticism is one thing, but Im not sure I understand the need to personally assault people online over trivial disagreements in an online game forum. Especially in one that follows a rather unimportant weekly update. You know the biggest factor in the success or failure of an online game? Its own gamers and the community they make among themselves. If the game let you down in the first 3 months, then don't spend more money on it. That's really the limit of our power. They are a business after all, and we are consumers. If you really want to stick it to the man, stick it to his wallet. After the next DLC I might have to join you too. I need a story to justify all the killing I'm doing after all... If you agree with the above paragraph you might be angry at Bungie or Activision. You may even feel like you have a right to go online and vent your anger until everyone else is as angry as you are about it. You are half right. But other people paid for it too, and if they have fun with it they should be allowed to enjoy it without getting bashed over the head by everyone that was disappointed by it. Taking your anger out on other players is called friendly fire where I'm from, and people enjoying things can't possibly be hurting you. Ok, you were disappointed. We get it. We got it last week too. And the week before that. Honestly at some point it just gets annoying. I agree with a lot of the criticism, but I have also genuinely enjoyed halo style physics mashed up with stat gear and some special abilities. Despite all the debate about mechanics, gear, or the lack of story, the worst feature in Destiny so far is its own community. You can go through the last few weeks of forum posts if you doubt this at all. There is nothing Bungie can program in the game to fix this kind of problem. This problem here is on us to solve.

2 RepliesWhy the hell are you people complaining so hard that the exotics have to be reset? I have 9-10 exotic weapons fully maxed, and the others leveled up to at least the last perk. Even more, I used a couple exotic shards to level up weapons before they revealed the exotic reset. You know what I'm gonna do? Reset them all and level them up again. Happily. I don't understand why all you grown ass people are being such crybabies. There's nothing wrong with the exotic reset. In any other game, the exotics would be made obsolete.

2 RepliesWell I come on here a bit and have a read and there has always been a lot of complaining. But this new onslaught about the exotic weapon reset is jus ridiculous. I thought that all the exotics where going to become obsolete which is what should be happening and I was cool with that. But We are lucky we have been given a way the bring our current exotics up to par with the new ones. All you guys need to stop expecting everything on a silver platter. To all the young guys on here complaining grow up and get some maturity and to the older people complaining your to far gone and I feel sorry for you. To all the non complainers and people that enjoy the game I hope to see you out there. Blakeyp

Ok ok. Since yelling and complaining doesn't change anything. As we can all clearly see. I want a shield of mythics emblem and 1 exotic shard for every maxed piece of exotic gear I have. Sounds simple enough what do you say Big D!!!

1 ReplyI think all the outrage about releveling exotics could have been easily avoided. You guys implemented the exotic shards to prepare for the dlc, right? Just add a few upgrade slots that cost exotic shards. Problem solved. I think it should be this simple but I'm not a developer so I can't say for sure. It just seems so obvious,so easy, and I don't think too many people would be upset. All you do is add upgrades to the available ones.
