The Last Word. Being a combined 7 days and 5 hours in this game between 3 characters I have yet to come encounter with any exotic since the engram patch through RNG means besides the Vex. I've only gotten 3 exotics through RNG. I've yet to buy any from Xûr. It boggles my mind that some people are just handed exotics left and right through RNG and then there's me. There are people that get awesome stuff from Atheon and chests, then there's me who gets nothing but energy and shards. I've still yet to get the vault cloak because my luck is that bad. I hope Xûr sells TLW soon. I'm sick of my terrible RNG luck. And as a Hand Cannon aficionado, all I want are the 3 exotics. Hawkmoon and The Last Word refuse to come into my path.

Look, RNG is just that. Right now I'm on layoff, so I get anywhere between 2-6 hours a day. I've gotten upwards of 30+ strange coins and legendary engrams from cryptarch packages and loot chests some weeks, while last week I received three exotics. It's just... random. I think, though, that Xur isn't random at all. After seeing scores of Titans walking around with No Backup Plans, I visited Xur last Friday. Seeing that he was hawking an arm engram, I figured that my chances of getting those were pretty high... and I was right. It just seems that his inventory is static, only rotating once per week. It would be nice to figure out what he sells on a weekly basis and see if there's a pattern.

1 ReplyOMG I'm in the same position I love hand cannons but no matter what I do I never get drops I did around 50 to 100 strikes tester day got one leg for a class item my sis got on for twenty minutes did two strikes and got two leg engrams and guess what one of them turned out to be the last word and she doesn't even like hand cannons. My luck is terrible :(

9 RepliesYou are "sick of your random number generator luck". I hate these forums 'RNG' - 'PVP' - 'PVE'. All these abbreviations are awfully irritating. A part of me dies every time somebody spews one out. I die a lot and that's not just in the game. I would rather somebody say I'm sick of the prizes in this game, than some stupid RNG that doesn't even point to what you are talking about. We don't look at codes, 'I'm so sick of this weapon. Bloody 6536382763 needs to be nerfed. Poxy thing.' (Also, it's the crucible, not PVP. It has a name and makes reading more interesting and not something that I just dropped out of IT weekly. Yawn... I apologise in advance for my out burst. Resume with your madness.

Honestly, I don't want Xur to sell it, not because I had to "earn" it, but because if there are a large amount of them out there, the amount of butthurt kids that cry "NERF" will increase. And I love this gun too much for that to happen. That being said, noone's destiny experience is complete until they have had fun with this gun.

2 RepliesI agree completely. Or for those of us who REALLY want a certain gun, give us a bounty we can choose from a vendor. This bounty would contain like 50 to-do things instead of the current bounties which have like 8. This way we could KNOW that we are progressing towards something we want in the end game. Look at GW2. To get a legendary weapon you had to get map completion and a bunch of other stuff. But the whole time you were doing it, you knew you were working towards a final goal. You were making PROGRESS. In Destiny? I feel helpless! I am just waiting for xur to sell TLW. But hey, maybe I'll randomly get it from completing a crucible match, that sounds like a fun way to "EARN" it right? I'm sure that getting it randomly from a crucible end game roll would make for a great "STORY" on how I got my gun. I guess when Deej said he wanted us to have a "STORY" about how we obtained a gun, he was referring the the same quality of story that currently exists in destiny!

I haven't seen it either. Although I did get fatebringer and thorn (bounty, so semi-rng). I've wanted patience and time since I first laid eyes on it whrm inspecting a friend. But it keeps me playing at least :) In rng games like this, and diablo, when you get what you want, at least I tend to get bored

3 RepliesI have about 9 days played. Mostly tiger vanguard strikes, the raid, and night falls. Have NEVER received RNG exotics. I got a patience and time in crucible once. That's it. If Xur doesn't sell it, or if there is no bounty. I will never get an exotic.

1 ReplyI wish I could get hawkmoon, but I'm on xbox one. On the other hand, the last word was my first exotic pulled from a legendary engram before the patch. Since then I've gotten Hardlight from this weeks raid run, along with Aetheon's eplilogue, though I want visions the most, my hunter uses scout rifles. And I got Universal remote from my second nightfall run on my warlock. The things I'd wish he'd sell are simple. 1. Patience and Time 2. Mida Multi tool 3. Thunderlord 4. Red Death again 5. Plan c of the exotic weapons, thats all I'm missing, well, vex, but he won't sell that

I got mine from a Nightfall, but I hope he sells it soon for you and others like you. I'm not worried about potential nerf cries; it isn't as OP as it looks.

I havent gotten any exotic engram at all or legendary for that matter or any exptic bounties, it seems RNGesus doesnt smile on me much
