I know this will get disliked into oblivion...
But I actually enjoy the game? Leveling gear, subclasses, raiding, PvP, partying up with friends and doing missions.
Not everyone hates the game.

The first outlet for people who are frustrated is the forums. Many people who enjoy the game obviously aren't going to be here. The problem at the moment is the community is too busy shouting at each other, and bashing bungie to give useful and valid feedback.

1 ReplyI think the real problem here is both extremes are allowed to run rampant. I don't see much of a community here, just different sides making post after post of how much the others are pussies.

A lot of people like it. No game is without flaws or issues that haters will view as a flaw. I think destiny is a good start and is improving with the cryptarch changes and weapon balances. Even nerfing loot caves (there is another or two) is part of the process of refining the game. However I like enough of it to keep playing and having fun.

We know it, will people keep playing hoping for dlc to save the day, doubt it. Why a experienced, smart, talented company made a start up company blunder I can't fathom. Shame to could be a great game but many are right, this has been a death nail to many a MMO. Not hating, but it is what it is.

6 Repliesit really isnt a bad game , the mroe recent issue was a "hotfix" that devs did that was poorly thought out. 1) first part was to get rid of the loot cave.....SURPRISE someone ALREADY found another of the MANY loot caves there are.....cause when you actually read beyond the ppl complaining about just loot cave , you would have known it was the LOOT SYSTEM that needed adjusting , not the caves. There are ALOT more caves out there that most of us dont make known publicly nor are we gonna trust any random joe that asks us to be their buddy and share the info. You can thank bungie for instilling that level of distrust in the community already for not actually listening and doing ACTUAL research. 2) The other one was to make the limited event gear you got from the mission no longer give ANY ascendent shards at all , the reasonable players say make it do 1-2 instead (since were talking about legendaries not some chump rare gear) , but no bungie decided to just do 0 and make the whole event POINTLESS for ALOT of people , there was no story to the event , no new areas / enemies , NOTHING beyond that gear you could salvage to try to get your gear going .....and its claimed (allegedly) it was done to keep players from "maxing out" the game too fast and get bored and stop playing .....NOTE not bungies claim AFAIK , just the general populace considering that was a knee jerk unreasonable reaction to it. a poorly thought out one at that....but oh well......how many players they lose cause they show the signs that all new mmos showed just before they died , we shall see......you can doubt / mock me all ya want , ive played alot of mmos though , and i know when this s**ts about to happen .....

5 RepliesWhat people have to understand is that the game will get better overtime, and I'm really looking forward to what Destiny has to offer. I hope that Bungie adds a third sub-class that would be great to see.

I like this game to, pretty much the only thing I've played lately. It has its problems of course, but the way I see it this game is meant to last awhile, not something you play for a week and then never touch again.
