isnt it rumored nikki minaj is a musician? Isn't it rumored that a stock honda civic can beat a fully built corvette? not everything you hear is true. Besides, us xbox players spent a week playing just a small portion of russia and have spent the past month missing that small portion. Our Playstation brothers spent two weeks and were right there crying over our lost beta with us. we've still got the moon, venus, mars, and the other areas of old russia to explore. plus the reef, a ton of multiplayer maps & game modes, whatever goodies bungies got up there sleeves to freshen things up, and the raid and strikes to do. On three characters. With an expansion coming out 3 months after the game launches. seems like plenty of content for me. more content than a call of duty game, which is a story campaign you beat in under five hours, an assortment of rehashed multiplayers maps, and some zombie maps. and people spend a year on one of those games before going out and spending another $70+ on the next version with only superficial changes.

However big the game is, i'll want more, that's human greed

1. your facts arent even facts, in fact they are false, alpha wasn't even 10 percent and the beta only added a few missions here and there 2. leveling was accelerated during the beta, plus it was capped at lvl 8 we've barely scratched the surface 3. although old Russia is the only explorable place on earth at the moment we still haven't seen everything yet. 4. we still haven't completed all of the story and strike missions (and apparently there will be daily story missions) not only that but we still have played all of the crucible yet 5. dont for get that this game focuses a lot on loot and there will be plenty of it. 6. first expansion is in december, so there is that. 7. at level 20 the raid opens up, and you can start participating in nightfall missions and strikes, think of them as missions with super hard skulls on, which debuffs you, and changes your enemies. heck even regular hard mode is supposed to drastically change enemies. 8. PvP will give hours open hours of re playability, i enjoyed it a bunch and it will keep me busy for quiet some time, not only that but its a good contrast the PVE modes. 9. Although each Explore place is not as big as we thought they were going to be , we still have loot to find, public events to encounter,secrets to discover,as well as bounties and procedurally generated quest, like the challenges in Reach, 10. and the biggest thing, Bungie is going to be updating this game everyday with new stuff to do. and seeing as its online only, it should be pretty seamless as well, as ive stated before, loot is a huge part of the game, and there will be PLENTY of it to find, with each piece having an upgrade tree. Edit : oh yea and its also a 40GB download.

There will be a new campaign mission everyday, leveling up in the beta was sped up too and that was only one strike that we played there will be a lot more strikes in the full game

(If you already know what you want) - The free roam will probably change over time, which will give you a reason to come back. - Reputation for each faction will take quite a while to max out - Limited Time Events will appear on and off. - Collectibles - 4 Free Roam maps that expand with each story mission you clear on said planet - Strikes that will have a small chance of rewarding you with special items not found everywhere else - Miltiple difficulties - A Raid that will be incredibly difficult and will award those who beat is well. - Gotta find your end game gear (Colors and gear its self) - Maxing out Iron Banner Rank, Crucible Rank, Vanguard Rank, and whatever other ranks exist that we don't know about - Find all the dead ghosts - Play Crucible I don't know about you, but if I was willing to buy Halo Reach for $60 and feel my purchase was worth it, then I'm sure the same would go for this game since it's a lot bigger than Reach.

Exploring old Russia took 30 min, finishing the campaign took 45 min, and playing the strike took 25 min. The rest of that time was just grinding endlessly through repeat quests or just doing the strike over and over till you leveled up. One of Destiny's huge problems is there is absolutely no reason to spend any time in one location while exploring Old Russia. Quests waste your time by sending you back and forth across the zone and when you get to some place the only thing you can do is grind. There's no missions/quest clusters, no story additions, and the dynamic events were extremely limited and almost nonexistent... on top of that they were generic and repeated the same 4 types over and over even when on the moon. So far the game has been incredibly empty which is weird for a play space that is so small.

where did you get 25% from? it was less than 10% in the beta... Edit: Oh and by the way, it didn't take long to do the campaign and explore because they amped up our characters for the beta. Jesus, would it kill you to read up on some facts before you post things?

Go and watch the PAX video of Destiny where the staff of Bungie talk about this. I learnt Bungie can add whole parts to Destiny at will any time they want, Bungie can remove anything they want from Destiny as well. Why? because it's all server side controled. Bungie also said in the PAX video they are making choices what to add in October and November and then some to keep people playing Destiny. In no way just because the cd is produced did the staff of Bungie stop production of Destiny. The way I see it kids on this Forum was compaining about getting lost in Destiny. In reality those kids have no idea what this game is going to turn into say 9 years from now. I would say it's going to be the largest game in the history of man if Bungie adds to the landscape every month.

Isn't it 40 gigs with expansion passes if you have them?

If you look at the story in a linear fashion the beta makes up almost 30% of the campaign. This isn't a game to be played in a linear fashion. Keep in mind it is in Bungie's best interest for you to crave more content since that's what they are continuing to sell after launch.
