I don play as a female, but female protagonists are fkn badass. Simple as. This should never be a question that needs to be asked. The question should be why do people feel the need to hit on a digital character in a computer game? Because it's what it comes down to.

I'm thinking if giving it a try since a while back I was playing , mom walked in as I was getting shot and the look on her face as my player grunted. Though I still play as a male till this very day
-
Boobs. That is all.

2 RepliesBecause I don't want to listen to a man moan every time I get shot... I ain't gay, bro.

For the record, anyone who notices and acts differently based off of whether the character is male/female, is stupid. Always treat them the same.
-
I'm sick of male orgasms when my male character is waiting to regenerate health.
-
I always play as males until I have had my fun and get bored and a time for a change now since there are three races and class on destiny i will be a male Exo hunter, a awoken Titan and a human warlock all males.

You need to get the hell out.

I did this in gta online recently. Sometimes people would help me out with robbing stores and such. And one time some guy sent me s text saying sorry after he killed me. When i went to return the favor he didnt shoot back lol
-
Because it's hilarious when little kids get er3kt at me asking for gear, then find out it's a guy and get super mad
-
2 Repliesits funny. and its fun to troll ppl who actually think its really a girl and start to hit on the character

Edited by hamsterboom: 8/23/2014 7:19:52 AMI genrally play females and i always use voice chat .. i never hide that i'm a guy and people who presume that female characters are female are just plain stupid .. about 75% of female characters running roubd are guys lol The reasons being i feel female animations are more agile for my sneak around everywhere style . And also most of the time armors fit alot better and look nails .. Feel free to disagree but each to their own .. Btw my other half always helps me design toons, just about the only thing she likes about games

It's their way of coming out of the closet.

Role Playing Games dude. Look them up.

How can you impersonate them if theres no text chat? Plus, they are our CHARACTERS. We can make them however want and people really should stop judging those who decide to utilize the full potential of the character creator. I find it funny how people love to play alien races but flip when they see a guy playing as a girl, or vice versa. You're saying the same thing as "WHY ARE SO MANY HUMAN PLAYERS PLAYING AS EXOS!?".
-
2 RepliesWhy is it impersonating if you just play a female character? Did you get a little too close to that female titan only to find the cold hard truth of man testies?
-
This is still in rotation? Sigh... I don't "impersonate", I play using a female character. Same as if I was playing Tomb Raider, or Metroid. It's a bunch of pixels and polygons on a screen. I'm not concerned with if you, or anyone is so horny enough to run up to me and try to get my attention. I really wish we had proximity chat so my deep voice will ruin your day! I'm pretty sure no one is playing the latest space shooter to turn it into cumdateme.com. If so, those are the truly sick and depraved people you should be on the lookout for. Most of us are here to play a game, and enjoy ALL it has to offer. Not play as horny, homophobic trolls.

You know what I say? Fucc it. It's just a game. Maybe ppl shouldn't be stereotypical and assume that every girl character are females

What about gender class locks
I hate Those.
1 ReplyI don't see a problem, that's like me telling a guy that they can't buy (with their own money, mind you) that hat over there because it has pink on it or telling a lady that she can't wear those boots because they look too butch. If a person wants to play as a different gender, why does it matter? I've been guilty of creating female characters and I've attempted to make it obvious or let folks know who may get confused that I'm a guy rolling a female profile. Most of the time it was met with a "ah okay, coolio."other times, it was met in a similar manner to this thread :P Point is, you're only experiencing half of the game's customization if you don't play the opposite gender. You completely miss an entire facet of the game that was lovingly crafted to be just as awesome as the other. Even if I delete the character right after, I almost always check out how the customization differs across all races and genders.
