  • I liked your post for Reach, I couldn't agree more with that :P I am curious though, what didn't you like about Origins? I know I absolutely love the game, but I'm not going to try and convince anyone to change their mind on it, haha. But yeah, in the interest of satisfying my curiosity, what was you didn't like about the game?

  • Well, it wasn't the worst game I've ever played. The depth of the followers was something I was blown away by, and the combat was pretty solid. But the story was very generic, and when there is a boring story, I turn to exploration, which was practically nonexistent. Along with being too easy, and lackluster quests, I soon found reason not to care too much about playing it again. To each their own, though.

  • Yes, the characters are definitely all fantastic, that's one of the things Bioware always does extremely well regardless of the quality the rest of the game has. Some of the quests certainly aren't all that great, mostly the sidequests in my opinion like what you get from the people like the Mages Collective, Blackstone Irregulars, and Chantry Boards, those have all proved not that interesting to me and only really being useful for getting money =P The main quests or side-ones tied into the main quest I found interesting enough......albeit sometimes dragging on for too long. Like the part of the main quest when you're dealing with the Dwarves or recruiting the Mages. For me, being too easy has really depended entirely on the enemies or the difficulty setting I'm on. I've found a lot of the fights on the "Normal" difficulty setting to be almost too hard and then had to bump the difficulty down to the "Casual", which depending the fight isn't necessarily much easier. Like the final battle with the Archdemon is rather hard for me even on the "Casual" setting...
