I guess every FPS 'copys' COD...
I'm not even kidding, everywhere i read theres always someone who thinks this game or that game looks like or copied off of COD, such as Halo, Titanfall, Killzone, Battlefield, and others too. Like stop putting your piece of sh*t game on such a high pedestal and thinking every game copied off it, or every game looks like it, every game looks like its own game so shut the hell up, its getting real old, just thought i'd put that out.

1 ReplyIf u look at history, then cod directly copied Medal of Honor. It's still a great game but the whole idea of cod is based off another game series.

That's because CoD is probably one of the most well known games of all time therefore the most easily to compare to. Furthermore, who cares?

Let them think what they want because in the end it is up too you that have played the game to decide. They are the ones missing out because they are judging too soon.

1 ReplyOnly gimps and n00bs compare every game to CoD. If these people actually played a variety of games, they'll know Battlefield isn't at all like CoD, and neither is Halo (besides Halo 4) as were these games mentioned by the OP. However I think Titanfall is being made by the same members of Infinity Ward. So its likely you'll some some of the same elements. And I've never played Killzone so I have no opinion.

Halo's the only one on that list that does though. Well, Halo 4. Not so much the others, but Reach decided to start sprinting down that path.

You can't say games in recent years haven't tried catering to that audience. Bioshock is the perfect example. 1 and 2 did something different for the genre. Then Infinite happened.

1 ReplyHalo 4's matchmaking system worked the same way as cod does tho. For example it started game search right after selecting game mode.. and the game mode is not votable anymore, like in cod.
