46 clears of Hypernet Current GM last week
And I didnt even get the perk combination I wanted. Feels bad man.
[spoiler]I would love to see crafting or maybe some other form of rng mitigation implemented, that is a lot of time invested to walk away with literally nothing to show for it.[/spoiler]

1 ReplyDifferent game, but I like the way first descendant is doing loot. You can look up anything in game and see where it drops and the %chance of drop. Some options have higher % chance. I will note that there are a -blam!- ton of parts to get to “craft” something but there are multiple ways to get them…

2 RepliesI had 40 clears and got maybe 3 rolls with snapshot which is what I wanted. 90% of rolls had closing time and rolling storm. Weight gate still feels very real to me, I don’t think bungie fixed the issue.

Dungeon and playlist weapon chases suck. I actually played Trials for most of the weekend for a hand canon roll. Never saw it. My excitement for the new Trials system died after one weekend with it. The tiered system doesn’t excite me. Double garbage perks is still garbage. Adepts with garbage perks are still garbage. It’s just more ways to be disappointed. The on demand experimentation that crafting afforded had me playing more than ever but now that it’s gone my play time and engagement has plummeted. I don’t plan on getting the Frontiers year of content until there’s a bundle on sale later in the content’s initial life cycle, assuming I’m still interested by then. It’s just not as fun with the accessibility of on demand weapon experimentation being gone. Shouldn’t have taken it away after letting us have it for three years. Box was opened. Don’t force it back in. Just make it an option and let people chase how they like.

And people give me so much grief whenever I suggest having more crafting options....the garbage RNG is what keeps me from even attempting many things...last time I checked beating your face bloody on a wall is unhealthy and wasting your life in front of a slot machine gets you in line for therapy...games are supposed to be fun not a pit for the mentally ill....

Then take the roll you get. I wanted explosive + opening shot, but I got explosive + MH. I’m not mad at all, it’s still a good roll, and I will be using it.

Same. No EP+Rolling Storm. Just kept getting elemental capacitor+RS or Outlaw+RS. Then looked at the possible rolls and the combos are more trash than useful honestly. Gun feels really good to shoot though, just sucks I didn’t get the roll. Oh well, on to the next.
