They can't all be "god rolls" If everything was a "god roll", nothing would be a "god roll".

Xur is not there to hand out perfect rolls. On occasion, he might have a serviceable roll, but those are exceptions, not rules.

Xur is about the oddities you can purchase. "Strange" Weapons. (He's the carnival ticket sales.. thing?) From the Strange Weapon Engrams I got this strange beauty: Timelines Vertex (solar fusion) Disruption Break + Shield Disorient .. something about it was odd enough for me to keep..and I tried it in Onslaught Do you know what it does to those Witches? It blows them up! spreading damage and disorienting > fine fusion otherwise (very quick).. but truly a witches nightmare. Anything with a solar shields complete nightmare.. a moment of actually feeling extremely powerful with your guardian Now have I sharded everything else?.. pretty much.. or should have.. but there could be an interesting roll out there... and maybe they'll slip in some sunset weapons.. that would make those engrams very f'kin cool.

Perhaps they should have like xur quests or something. Because almost every time I've gone to Xur there's just something about the roll that makes me wish I'd gotten a better rng drop from wherever it came from. I'm sure that's not on purpose.

Well, you might not have to worry about Xur or anything else in the game soon D2 has we know it is over, now the question is how long does Sony keep the lights on

Xur was never about god rolls. He lets you get something you don't have.

Agreed. That said, there's a whole lot that needs improvement but it's likely only going to get worse.
