Everyone has anxiety bro. Literally everyone has some form of anxiety so using that as a crutch is just limiting yourself.
I hate crowds but sometimes I have to go into Manhattan for work. So guess what happens if I let my anxiety win? I don't get to make money. So I have to deal with it.
You should not let anxiety run your life, especially a hobby like gaming.
