What is so great about Artifice Armor
Well tell me. What makes artifice armor so special.

Maybe helps for pvp, which I avoid. I use it for pve just to round out my stats, but ultimately can run any endgame stuff all the same without triple 100 stats. It’s more or less just something for people to grind for if they’re motivated.

It can help fine tune your build stats and armor mods, but for the most part it isn’t a deal breaker to not be using it.

Artifice armor isn’t really that good or important outside of maybe pvp. In pve the only stat you need to care about is resil and everything else is meh

2 RepliesTriple 100 stats are much easier with this armor. Lots of times, you’ve hot almost a perfect set of stats except for 1 or 2 categories missing (1 or 2 or 2 stat points). Artifice armor takes care of this problem (each armor has an extra free spot for an additional 3 stat points). And that is huge. Some people may even get quadruple 100 stats with base 70 point exotic armor (70+12+10 = possible 92 points). With an exotic like that, you could probably get quadruple 100 stats… I have seen a few people have exactly that.

The extra +3 allows for the highest stat combos in the game as well as offering freedom and more customisation with your stats.

If you've ever been a couple points off of one stat for a triple 100 build or just to round out to the next tier, it is very useful. But if you aren't a min/max fiend like some of us, it probably won't seem very useful.

2 RepliesArtifice armor provides a free +3 ability mod slot on the armor. Since it's pretty close to a minor mod, build-crafters particularly enjoy these armors to not only maximize their utility/weapons mods on armor, but also squeak out the maximum tier of stats possible on a build.
